The Shelter is quiet, almost dead. Cabin isn’t talking, just pointing you toward a hidden tram you’ve never used before.

You follow it.

This is where things start to feel serious.

Head left of the usual tram and enter the secret one. Before you leave, make sure you gear up properly. There’s still some fighting ahead.

Also, once you go here, you can’t come back. This is a one-way trip.

When you arrive, just follow the path forward. There’s no confusion here; the game is guiding you straight. Soon, you reach a repair station.

Hugh places Diana inside, and you get a short moment of relief… but it doesn’t last long. The machine can only partially fix her. The Dead Filament is still stuck to her, and to fully repair her, you need an energy reactor.

Hugh decides to go alone. Diana refuses. Even in her broken state, she gets back on his back.

Now you move forward into the lab.

The first thing you’ll notice is that something feels off with hacking.

Malfunctioning Hacking

Diana isn’t working properly anymore.

  • Purple flashing nodes appear during hacking
  • These stop your movement completely
  • You can’t always avoid them

So fights feel slower and riskier now. You’ll need to keep a distance more than before.

You move through a hallway covered in black Dead Filament. It slows you down, and it also makes hacking even worse.

A Walker MK-II shows up here, forcing you to fight while everything feels broken. It’s messy. That’s the point.

As you keep going, you start finding holograms. Dr. Higgins appears.

These moments are important. They slowly explain what really happened behind everything. About Diana. About Eight. About the experiments.

You’ll see more of these as you go, so don’t rush past them.

The lab starts to look familiar at one point, almost like a twisted version of the city from before.

You keep moving, fighting small groups of enemies, dealing with broken hacking, and slowly pushing forward.

Then you reach a long hallway. It’s filled with security bots.

All of them inactive.

Except one is missing. Yeah… that’s not a good sign.

You move through more rooms, watching more holograms. Higgins talks about his daughter. About experiments. About failure.

At this point, things start connecting.

Diana. Eight. The whole project. Eventually, you reach your goal.

Right beside the projector on the desk, you’ll find a laptop. It contains a file titled “Test Android – Pragmata,” along with an email labeled “Dear Daddy.”

In the next room, clear out the Lunafilament Mass blocking your way to the terminal. Once you’ve got access, hack the terminal to shut down the laser grid and open the path forward.

In the next room, you’ll find a laptop sitting on a desk with a message titled “URGENT: Emailing as Phones Are Down.” Take a look at the bed as well; there’s another laptop there containing information labeled “Test Pragmata Exclusion/Registration.”

The exit door is locked via a laser grid. Step close to the grid (but not too close!) and hack the terminal on the other side of the wall to shut the lasers off.

As you step into the room, another hologram begins to play. This time, it features Eight and Seven, with Seven being revealed as Diana.

Approach the laser grid blocking the doorway and look up toward the ceiling. You’ll spot a terminal above, hack it to disable the grid and clear the way forward.

In the next room, check the desk to find a tablet with a file titled “D-I-0336-7 Shutdown Record.” It gives some insight into what happened to Diana’s memory.

The energy reactor.

Pick it up… and of course, the game doesn’t let you walk away peacefully.

Enemies activate.

You fight off Walkers and a Lancer. Nothing too crazy, but with broken hacking, it feels harder than it should.

After the fight, something worse happens.

Diana gets weaker. She falls off Hugh. Now he has to carry her.

From here, the tone shifts again. No fighting for a bit. Just walking. More holograms play. One shows Higgins and Eight celebrating success.

It doesn’t feel good anymore. It feels wrong. You finally reach the repair station again. Hugh places Diana inside.

And then… everything hits at once.

Her memories start flashing across the screen. All your moments together. Everything you’ve been through.

Then the missing security bot crashes in.

Fully corrupted.

And this time… you can’t fight back.

The Survival Section

Without Diana, you can’t hack.

Your attacks do nothing.

So all you can do is survive.

  • Dodge its blade attacks
  • Move constantly
  • Avoid missiles

You’re just buying time.

After a while, Diana comes back.

Fully repaired.

And she doesn’t waste time.

She uses a new ability and destroys the bot instantly.

Deletion Protocol (New Ability)

This is a big upgrade.

  • It damages enemies
  • Makes them vulnerable
  • Stops their movement

And most importantly:

It can erase Dead Filament. You can now clear those black blockages that slowed you earlier.

With everything done, you head back to the tram. There’s a quiet moment before leaving.

Hugh hides something.

You don’t know what yet… but it clearly matters. And just like that, Sector 05 ends.

No big boss fight. No collectibles. Just story. But honestly, this might be one of the most important parts of the game.

Next stop: Sector 06.

And now, things are really going to escalate.
