Have you been stacking up Investors for a while? You have probably spotted a strange purple portal near your LemonDash and Lemon Depot. That portal leads you to one of the biggest power spikes in the game. In this guide, I will show you everything you need to know about Sell Lemons Void Evolution.
What Is Void Evolution in Sell Lemons?
Void Evolution is the second Reset Layer in the game. When you Evolve, you lose all your Powers and Investors, just like a normal Rebirth. But in exchange, you get a permanent 42x Global Speed multiplier that stacks with every other speed boost you have.
This means every Evolution makes your game noticeably faster. Things that used to take minutes are now finishing in seconds.
How to Unlock the Void Portal in Sell Lemons?
To unlock the portal, you need a total of 501.2 Quadrillion Investors. This counts Investors you've spent, Investors you currently own, and Investors you are about to gain from Rebirth.
The portal starts small and slowly grows as you get closer to that number. Once you hit 501.2 Quadrillion, it'll be full-size and ready to use, sitting right behind the Alien Investor.

Step through the portal, and you'll land in the Void, a purple, space-like area. From here, do a short parkour across floating rocks until you reach the last one. That rock holds the Void Altar, the only thing you can interact with.
Touching the Altar for the first time unlocks the Void Evolution menu permanently, right below your Rebirth menu. After that, you can come back anytime to Evolve again. If you want to leave, you can go back through the portal, teleport to an Income Source, jump off the rocks, or reset your avatar.
How the Evolution Menu Works
The menu shows your current Fruit, your Evolution number, a silhouette of the next Fruit, and a progress bar toward 100%. That progress is based on your total Investor count compared to what's needed for the next Evolution.

Once you hit 100%, you don't have to Evolve right away. Any extra Investors you collect after that make you more "ready," and you'll get bonus Investors that carry over after you evolve. So waiting a bit before evolving can give you a nice head start.
Fruit Evolutions and Requirements in Sell Lemons
Every Fruit stage has its own name, color, and Investor requirement. The multiplier formula is simple: it's 42 raised to the power of your Evolution number. So Evolution 1 gives 42x, Evolution 2 gives 1,764x, and so on.
| Evolution | Fruit Name | Required Investors | Total Speed Multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | ![]() Lemon | N/A (starting fruit) | x1 |
| 1 | ![]() Orange | 501.2 Quadrillion | x42 |
| 2 | ![]() Lime | 19.95 Nonillion | x1,764 |
| 3 | ![]() Grapefruit | 794.3 Tredecillion | x74,088 |
| 4 | ![]() Tangerine | 31.62 Octodecillion | x3,111,696 |
| 5 | ![]() Pomelo | 1.259 Tresvigintillion | x130,691,232 |
| 6 | ![]() Abyssalime | 50.12 Septemvigintillion | x5,489,031,744 |
| 7 | ![]() Nullfruit | 1.995 Duotrigintillion | x230,539,333,248 |
| 8 | ![]() Voidlemon | 79.43 Sextrigintillion | x9,682,651,996,416 |
| 9 | ![]() Purity Fruit | 3.162 Unquadragintillion | x406,671,383,849,472 |
After Purity Fruit, your Fruit loops back to looking like Lemon again, but with a "+1" added to its name, like "Lemon+1" and "Orange+1." This cycle keeps repeating, theoretically forever, with bigger requirements each time.
My Take on Evolving Early
The first Evolution in Sell Lemons feels scary because you're giving up everything you've built for a 42x boost. But that boost is so strong it pays for itself fast. You'll often earn back your lost Investors quicker than you'd think.
My advice: don't overthink the early Evolutions. They're smaller, but much faster to recover from compared to later ones like Abyssalime or Purity Fruit, where the numbers get massive.
Check your progress bar first. If you're already past 100%, consider waiting a little longer to bank bonus Investors. Don't spend big on Powers right before evolving since they'll reset anyway. And remember, the 42x boost stacks with everything else, so combine it with your other multipliers for the best results.
