Goop is the currency used for rebirthing in Slime RNG. Rebirth provides permanent luck multipliers that make rolling rare slimes significantly easier. Understanding how to farm Goop efficiently and which upgrades to prioritize will accelerate your progression in Slime RNG. This guide covers everything about obtaining and using Goop in Slime RNG.
How to Unlock Goop in Slime RNG?
Goop farming must be unlocked through the skill tree before you can start collecting this currency. Open the upgrade menu and look for the Goop upgrade located in the skill tree. This upgrade costs 10,000,000 Gold to unlock.
The 10 million Gold requirement means Goop unlocking is not an early game priority. Focus on progressing through zones and accumulating Gold first. Purchase basic upgrades and unlock zones before saving for the Goop upgrade.
Once you unlock the Goop upgrade, defeated enemies will start dropping Goop. Your slimes automatically defeat enemies and collect Goop for you. The Goop counter appears on your screen showing how much you have accumulated.
We don't recommend rushing to unlock Goop immediately. The 10 million Gold cost is steep for new players. Invest in zone progression and coin farming upgrades first. These upgrades help you reach higher zones faster which makes Goop farming more efficient later.
Farm Goop in zones above zone 10 for optimal drop rates. Zone 1 might give you 1 Goop per second while zone 10 can provide much more. Choose the highest zone where you can easily defeat enemies. If enemies take too long to defeat, your Goop per hour drops significantly. Find the balance between high zone number and fast enemy clear speed.
Goop Skill Tree Upgrades
The skill tree contains multiple Goop upgrades that increase drop chance. These upgrades become extremely expensive but provide substantial improvements to farming efficiency.

How to Use Goop for Rebirth in Slime RNG?
Goop serves one primary purpose, which is rebirthing. Rebirth resets your money and zone progress in exchange for permanent luck multipliers. Open the rebirth menu from the right side of your screen. This displays your current rebirth level and the Goop cost for the next level. Check how much Goop you need and compare it to your current total.
