Snapchat offers two easy ways to send Snaps to multiple friends at once: using shortcuts or creating groups. 1. Use Snapchat Shortcuts to Snap Multiple Friends
The good part about this method is that it works in Snapchat on Android and iOS. No need to install or use any third-party app. Before you can Snap to multiple groups at once, create Snapchat shortcuts as shown below.
1. Capture: Open Snapchat and take a photo or video as you normally would.
2. Send To: Tap the Send To button in the bottom right corner.
3. Create Shortcut:
- Tap the Plus (+) button below the search bar.
- Select all the friends you want to include in this shortcut. You can scroll or search for their names.
- Choose an emoji to represent this group (this makes it easier to find later!).
- Tap Create Shortcut.
Whenever you want to send a Snap to multiple friends, you can choose this group. For that, tap the emoji you assigned to the shortcut. Tap Select all and send the Snap to everyone after you tap the blue arrow icon again.
2. Create Groups on Snapchat
If you frequently send Snaps to the same group of friends, consider creating a Snapchat group. Much like WhatsApp groups, Snapchat groups not only let you send Snaps to everyone at once but also create a space for ongoing conversations, shared memories, and even inside jokes. Here’s how to create one:
1. Open Snapchat and go to the Chat screen.
2. Tap the Chat icon (blue speech bubble) and then tap New Group.
3. Choose the friends you want to include (you can select up to 200 people).
4. Give your group a fun or descriptive name (optional).
5. Tap Chat with Group to create your group and start Snapping.
To send a Snap to the group, just open the group chat and take a photo or video as usual.
