Spider-Man Brand New Day Confirmed Cast
Several actors have been confirmed for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While some of their roles are already known, others remain under wraps. So, here are all the confirmed actors for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Tom Holland as Spider-Man

Surprise, surprise. Tom Holland will be reprising his role as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. This time, he’ll be donning a slightly upgraded version of the suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home, which fans are already calling the quintessential Spidey look. Holland will step back into the shoes of Spidey after almost five years. We have ranked all Spider-Man suits for you.
This Spider-Man will not feature any of the techno gizmos that the MCU Spider-Man had grown used to in past iterations. The story will instead focus on Peter Parker navigating life and crime in New York without relying on any Stark tech, that is, at least until Avengers: Doomsday comes out.
Jon Bernthal as Punisher
Jon Bernthal will be reprising his role as the Punisher from the Netflix series. Since his debut there, both Punisher and Daredevil have officially transitioned into the MCU. Bernthal’s character has appeared in Daredevil: Born Again and is even receiving his own Punisher special, which is expected to tie directly into Brand New Day.
As of writing, it’s unclear what Punisher’s role in Brand New Day will be, but reports suggest that Spidey and Punisher will team up to stop a rampaging Hulk. That said, Punisher might become the first character to finally refer to Spider-Man as “Web-Head,” especially since the character is known to give everyone nicknames.
Mark Ruffalo as Hulk
Mark Ruffalo will be reprising his role as Hulk/Bruce Banner, three years after his appearance as Hulk in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. It’s unclear as to the kind of role Ruffalo will play in the movie, but reports suggest that we might just see the return of the Savage Hulk.
The last time fans got to see the rageful savage Hulk was in Avengers: Infinity War. Since then, Hulk has appeared far more restrained. However, that might just change as we finally get to see Hulk in full form with Spidey and Punisher trying to stop him from destroying the city.
Zendaya as MJ

Surprisingly, Zendaya will be returning as MJ even though she lost all memories of Peter Parker at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home. It’s unclear as of writing whether MJ gets her memories (of Spider-Man) back, especially considering that No Way Home saw Peter taking the mature decision of renouncing MJ to keep her safe.
Jacob Batalon as Ned

Similar to Zendaya, Ned’s role is unclear in Brand New Day. Ned previously served as Peter’s best friend in the Spider-Man Home trilogy, but lost all memories of Peter at the end of No Way Home. It could very well be that Ned and MJ don’t get back memories of Peter, as we only see snippets of their lives without Peter in Brand New Day.
Sadie Sink
Sadie Sink from Stranger Things is another latest addition to Brand New Day cast. Marvel has kept her role tightly under wraps, which has only fueled a storm of fan theories. While some think she might be playing Gwen Stacy, some argue that she might be making history as the MCU’s first mutant by portraying Jean Grey.
Sink’s words have only added more fuel to the fire. When asked about the rumors surrounding her role, she responded playfully.“They’ve been really cool to read. I love the Marvel Universe. I mean, they’re awesome rumors.”

Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion
If we had a dollar for every time Marvel teased a character only to never bring them back, we’d be pretty rich by now. Mac Gargan, played by Michael Mando, is one such character who first appeared at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. We only see a glimpse of him in Homecoming, asking Vulture about Spider-Man’s identity. Almost ten years since the character’s appearance, fans will finally get to see Michael Mando back as the iconic villain.
Tramell Tillman
Tramell Tillman, known for his roles in Severance and Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, has officially joined the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It’s unclear as of writing who Tillman will be playing. However, fans have been quite happy with the actor joining the cast and wish for him to be the MCU’s Norman Osborn.
Liza Colón-Zayas
Straight from The Bear’s kitchen, Emmy Award-winning Liza Colón-Zayas has also joined the cast of Brand New Day. Similar to Sadie Sink and Tillman, her role hasn’t been revealed either. However, fans have been theorizing that she might be playing Rio Morales, Miles Morales’ mother. This could be true, especially considering her Puerto Rican heritage.
All Actors/Characters Rumored to Appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
As is the case with any Spider-Man property, there have been a whole slew of rumors around multiple actors as well as Marvel characters appearing in Brand New Day. So, here’s every one of them.
Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova
As reported by DanielRPK, Florence Pugh has also joined the cast of Brand New Day as Yelena. That said, this information needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, since it hasn’t been confirmed yet. However, it could make sense storywise for Yelena to make an appearance. At the end of Thunderbolts (The New Avengers), we see Yelena has formed her own Avengers team, and she could be here to add Peter to the roster.
Tombstone, Tarantula, Boomerang, and Ramrod
Tombstone, Tarantula, Boomerang, and Ramrod are rumored to join the cast of Brand New Day. This could hold true, especially considering that Spider-Man: Brand New Day is shaping up to be a street-level story. Rumors also suggest that the movie will begin with a montage of Spider-Man fighting multiple villains, filling us in on the time gap between No Way Home and Brand New Day. This could mean that we get to see these villains here.
Venom
If the long list of villains wasn’t enough, Venom is also heavily rumored to be in the movie. We last saw Venom leave a part of the symbiote from Sony’s Spider-Man universe in the MCU in No Way Home. Since then, the storyline hasn’t been addressed, making this the perfect time to tie up loose ends. With Avengers: Secret Wars on the horizon, it would also be a fitting setup, as in the comics, Secret Wars mark the first time Venom bonds with Spider-Man.
