The Easter update is coming to Survive Lava for Brainrots, and it's dropping very soon. This one is a pretty big update, but unfortunately, it will only be available for a week. Whether you're a regular player or just coming back to check it out, there's a lot to look forward to this time around! Here is the release date, countdown, and what to expect in the Easter update.
Survive Lava for Brainrots Easter Update Release Date and Time
The Easter update went live on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at 2:00 PM PT. If you're playing from a different part of the world, here's when that is in your timezone:

The update ends on April 12th, so you have one week to collect eggs and grab everything before it's gone. Don't forget to also log in early before the update to join the admin abuse event.

Once the timer hits zero, the Easter event, the Easter Lucky Block, and all the limited brainrots that come with it will be gone.
What to Expect
This update adds a good amount of content. Here's everything that's new:
- Easter Event – Collect eggs scattered around the map and bring them to the Easter Bunny. The bunny will use them to trigger the Easter Event, which has a chance to give the Easter Trait to brainrots on the map.
- Easter Trait – A new limited trait/mutation that can only be obtained during this event.
- Easter Brainrot Spawns – 1 out of every 4 brainrots that spawns on the map during the event will be an Easter-themed one.
- Easter Lucky Block – A new limited Lucky Block has been added. Open it for a chance at Easter-exclusive rewards.
- 10 New Brainrots – The update adds ten new brainrots in total. Three of them are confirmed so far:
- Chimpanzini Bunnunini (Secret)
- Easter Eggarini (Celestial)
- Masculini Easterini (Celestial)
- Seven more remain unknown for now.
Since the event only runs until April 12, it's worth jumping in every day to collect the eggs. The more you submit to the Easter Bunny, the better your chances of landing the Easter Trait on a brainrot you actually want.
