This Survive Zombie Arena tier list ranks everything from S-tier (best) to D-tier (worst) based on performance in high waves, solo capability, team utility, and credit efficiency. Use this guide to build the strongest loadout possible.

Necromancer dominates the S-tier as the most powerful solo class in the game. The Soul Harvester collects souls from defeated zombies which you spend with Raise Undead to summon minions that fight for you. Death Nova detonates all active minions for massive area damage making this class unstoppable in late waves.
Tactician is the best defensive class for team play and holding chokepoints. The Vanguard Turret automatically targets the strongest zombie in range which helps deal with elite enemies faster. Steel Barricade provides protection.
A-tier Classes

Bastion is the ultimate defensive powerhouse with the Bunker tool making your entire team invincible while regenerating HP and boosting damage. This class works incredibly well in team compositions but requires high credit investment at 200,000. Marksman offers the best value in the entire game at only 15,000 Credits.
B-tier Classes

Demolitionist specializes in crowd control with Shockwave Bomb stunning and knocking back zombies followed by Molotov fire damage. This class excels when zombies are tightly packed but struggles in sustained fights. Engineer provides good defensive capability with Flame Turret spraying fire in a cone, Auto Turret for single-target damage, and Steel Barricade with high health. However, Tactician does everything Engineer does but better making this class feel like a stepping stone rather than an end goal. Skip Engineer and save for Tactician instead.
Medic is important for team compositions with Healing Station regenerating player HP and Mending Tower healing structures. In solo play, Medic feels underwhelming since healing tools lose value without teammates.
C-tier Classes

Ninja has unique mechanics with Cloak turning you invisible and making zombies ignore you completely. Blade Fury deals spin damage to nearby zombies. Shuriken throws projectiles automatically. The problem is Ninja requires close-range combat which becomes extremely dangerous in late waves when high tier zombies stack up.
D-tier Classes

Survivor is your free starter class with no damage bonuses or special mechanics. Use Survivor for your first run or two while learning the game then immediately upgrade to Medic or Marksman once you have credits saved.

Arctic Striker is the most overpowered weapon in Survive Zombie Arena. It deals 6,000 damage per second by default and freezes all enemies it hits. Frozen enemies take 1.5 times damage from all sources including teammates. This weapon alone can carry you past wave 300 when combined with Necromancer class.
A-tier Weapons

Gumdrop Blaster sits just below Arctic Striker in raw damage at 4,687 DPS. The 500,000 credit cost makes it a solid stepping stone weapon while saving up for Arctic Striker. Works well for reaching high waves in the 100 to 200 range. Santitos Golden AK-47 is the best VIP exclusive weapon with 4,500 DPS for only 20,000 Credits. If you own the VIP gamepass, this weapon provides incredible value and should be your main slot four weapon until you can afford Gumdrop Blaster or Arctic Striker.
B-tier Weapons

Heavy Rifle is the best rifle slot weapon with 1,722 DPS. The 75,000 credit cost is high but Heavy Rifle carries you to wave 70 to 80 easily making it worth the investment. Flamethrower deals 1,000 damage per enemy hit which works well against tightly packed groups. However, the damage falls off compared to other slot four weapons in the same price range.
Minigun is your free heavy weapon with 3,033 DPS. Unlocks automatically as you progress through waves. Solid damage output for a free weapon and serves as your slot four option until you can afford premium alternatives.
C-tier Weapons

AK-47 provides decent damage at 900 DPS for 3,500 Credits. Works as a temporary rifle slot weapon while saving for Heavy Rifle. Not worth keeping long-term once better options become available.
Burst Rifle fires in bursts which creates inconsistent DPS compared to automatic weapons. The 800 DPS at 2,500 Credits makes it a poor value compared to just using the free Rifle until you can afford AK-47 or Heavy Rifle.
Combat Shotgun is the best shotgun in the game at 275 DPS but shotguns require close range which becomes dangerous in late waves. Use Combat Shotgun for slot two then switch to SMG or MP5 once affordable.
D-tier Weapons

These weapons are either free starter options or early upgrades that get replaced quickly. Rifle is your free rifle slot weapon with 666 DPS but Heavy Rifle provides nearly triple the damage making Rifle obsolete once you have credits. Dual Pistols work for slot one early game but contribute minimal damage in waves 10 and beyond. Pistol and Shotgun are your starting weapons with extremely low DPS that should be upgraded immediately.
