Survive Zombie Arena has an upgrade system that increases weapon damage, fire rate, and overall performance. Upgrading your weapons and gear makes surviving higher waves much easier. This guide explains how to access the upgrade shop in Survive Zombie Arena, what you can upgrade, and whether spending credits on upgrades is worth it.

Where to Find the Upgrade Shop in Survive Zombie Arena

The upgrade shop is located in the spawn area before you enter a match. Look for a shop with a wooden post next to it. This shop is easy to spot in the lobby area where you prepare your loadout before entering the spaceship. Walk towards the shop and interact with the NPC named Mr. Santito. He operates the upgrade shop and allows you to purchase permanent upgrades for weapons and gear. The shop interface opens when you interact with Mr. Santito.

How to Upgrade Weapons and Gear in Survive Zombie Arena

The upgrade shop has two tabs: Gears and Weapons. Choose the tab for what you want to upgrade. If you select the Weapons tab, a list of all available weapons appears. You can upgrade weapons by spending either in-game credits or Robux.

Credits are earned by defeating zombies during matches. The more waves you survive, the more credits you earn. You can also earn credits from daily rewards and completing objectives. Robux is the premium currency that costs real money.

You can only upgrade weapons and gear that you already own. If you haven't unlocked a specific weapon yet, it won't appear as an upgrade option. This means you need to purchase weapons first before you can improve them through the upgrade system.

Are Upgrades Worth Spending Credits on

Upgrades are absolutely worth purchasing. Increasing your firepower helps you survive higher waves and earn more credits per run. Better weapons kill zombies faster, which prevents you from getting overwhelmed during intense waves.

The best upgrade strategy is to focus on your primary weapon first. You use your primary weapon more often than any other slot during most waves. Upgrading your primary weapon gives the biggest immediate improvement to your performance. After upgrading your primary weapon, move towards secondary weapons and then gear upgrades. Gear like turrets, barricades, and landmines becomes important during later waves but you use weapons constantly throughout every round.

Start with damage upgrades before fire rate upgrades. Higher damage per shot is more valuable than shooting faster in most situations. Once you max out damage, then invest in fire rate and magazine size upgrades.

The upgrade system is fair for free-to-play players. You can max out all weapons and gear with enough credits earned through gameplay. Robux simply speeds up the process but isn't required to access any upgrades.
