The Forge just dropped a big update, and there is a lot to go through. New caves, new pickaxes, a brand new crafting system, and world events that change how you play. This update adds more to the game than any single patch before it. Here is a full breakdown of The Forge Galaxite update, so you know what got added and how to make the most of it.
The Forge Galaxite Update Guide
New Ore Crafting System
The biggest addition in this update is the Ore Crafter NPC. You will find him near the forge area in the starting zone. He is only available in World 2 and above, so if you are still in World 1, you will need to progress first.

If you want to craft your ore, here are the steps:
- Walk up to the Crafter, open his menu, and you will see a list of powerful ores you can craft.
- Each one requires a combination of other ores and gold. So check out the recipes.
- This system lets you get some of the rarest ores in the game without relying purely on luck while mining.

The Crafter NPC only shows ores that are relevant to the world you are currently in. So if you are in World 3, you will only see World 3 ores.
New Caves to Explore
There are two new caves you can explore within the new update:
The Void Cave
The Void Cave is one of the two new areas added in this update. It is located near a glowing purple area on the map. Just follow the purple glow, and you will find it. Inside, you will meet the Galaxy Guardian NPC, who lets you craft some of the most powerful ores currently in the game, including Galaxite.

To officially open the Void Cave, you need to complete the Buried Remains Quest given by an NPC named Silas. You can find Silas by heading up from the Crimson Sakura area and going toward the green zone on the map close to a shrine. His quest asks you to collect three skulls scattered around the world.

Note: At the time of this update's release, the Skeleton Quest had a bug where some skulls could not be picked up. If you run into this issue, try switching to a different server. It is expected to be fixed soon.
The Spirit Cave
The Spirit Cave is not completely new. It existed in World 4 before this update. But it was completely empty. Now it actually has rocks, crystals, and enemies inside. You will find ores like Thunder Core and Spirit Rocks down there.

To get into the Spirit Cave, head to the World 4 area and go down through the holes in the ground. Keep going down each level, and you will eventually reach the cave.
New Pickaxes
This update added two new pickaxes, and knowing which one to get first will save you a lot of gold.
| Pickaxe | Cost (Normal) | Cost (Goblin Race) | Mining Power | Luck | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() Spirit Pickaxe | 5,000,000 | ~4,400,000 | 777 | +85% | Entrance of the Spirit Cave |
![]() Yin-Yang Pickaxe | 7,770,000 | ~6,837,000 | 1,100 | +88% | Hidden inside the Spirit Cave, near the Shogun NPC |
To buy the Yin-Yang Pickaxe, you need a crafted ore called Yin Yang. You get this by combining a Yin ore and a Yang ore through the Ore Crafter, along with 5,000 gold. To get Yin and Yang ores, you need to defeat enemies in the Spirit Cave area. The Pale Oni drops Yin with a 1/20 chance, and the Spirit Golem drops Yang with a 1/20 chance.
If you are using the Goblin race, you get a discount on purchases, so always equip that before buying any pickaxe. It drops the cost significantly.
World Events
One of the coolest additions is the World Event system. Events happen at the top of every hour and rotate randomly. When an event is active, you will notice visual changes in the world. Here is a full breakdown of all the world events currently in the game:
| Event | Effect |
|---|---|
| Fortune | +1 ore per mine, +100% luck |
| Ultra Fortune | +2 ores per mine, +250% luck |
| Blood Moon | Enemies become stronger, but drop better rewards |
| Comet Rain | Rare ores are easier to find, allowing Star Dust to drop (material for crafting Galaxite) |
| Gold Rush | Enemies drop more gold, +30% mining power |
| Haste | +50% movement speed and mining speed |
Star Dust is worth paying attention to because it is required to craft Galaxite, which is currently one of the rarest and most powerful ores in the game. If you see the Star Rain event go live, drop what you are doing and get mining!
Mini Map (World 4 Only)
A small but welcome addition is the new mini map. You can access it by going to the Town Hall in World 4 and clicking on it. It shows a complete layout of the world, including landmarks like Shogun's Island, Bamboo Cave, and Holy Tree.

This Galaxite update is a solid step forward for The Forge. The Ore Crafter alone changes how you progress in the game, and the new caves give you a real reason to push further into the game. The world events add some nice variety too, because it feels different each session depending on what is active. Jump in, grab the Yin-Yang Pickaxe as your goal, and start working toward Galaxite!
