Guessing the correct phrase isn’t easy every time, but it happens! Just keep practicing, and you will get it. You can check out the Phrazle answer for today below.

Note: The team behind Phrazle has reset the number for the puzzle to #1 again on October 18, 2025.

The answer to the morning Phrazle #59 for December 17 is:

Fly By The Seat Of Your Pants

The answer to the afternoon Phrazle #60 for December 17 is:

Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

A masterful pairing of classic English idioms today! The morning’s puzzle was a real marathon—a lengthy, seven-word phrase describing improvisation. Solving this required patience but offered an immense sense of accomplishment. The afternoon shifted gears perfectly with a legendary four-word proverb about avoiding unnecessary trouble, providing a snappy and highly recognizable win. I’d rate it 4 out of 5.
