Divinity vs Humanity is a limited-time faction event introduced in Update 1.5: Record of Ragnarok. The entire player base splits into two teams, Divinity and Humanity, and both sides compete to earn the highest total score before the update ends.
It's not a PvP mode where you fight each other directly. Instead, both sides grind the same content, and whoever racks up more points wins. So it's like a server-wide race that runs for the entire duration of Update 1.5.
When you first load into the game during Update 1.5, you'll be given the option to choose your faction. You can go with Divinity or Humanity. Both sides have their own themed units tied to them, so a lot of players pick based on which characters they like more.
Once you lock in your choice, you're committed for the duration of the event, so choose carefully.
Universal Tower Defense Divinity vs Humanity Event Schedule
The Ragnarok Live Event game mode is hosted at different times throughout the Update 1.5 period. It opens on a set schedule, roughly every few hours, and stays active for a 2-hour window each time. During that window, the portal in the middle of the lobby map is open, and you can enter Ragnarok Infinite to earn points for your team.
Outside of that window, the portal is closed. So if you want to contribute, make sure you're logging in when the event is live.
How to Earn Points for Your Team
Your points come from playing Ragnarok Infinite while the event is active. Every wave you clear counts toward your team's total score. The further you go, the more points you add. So, if you survive longer, you contribute more. The best thing you can do for your team is to get good at Ragnarok Infinite. Learn the wave patterns, use the buffer unit on the left side of the screen, and push as deep into the run as you can every session.
The most important thing is showing up during the event window. Missing sessions means your team loses out on points while the other side keeps grinding. Set a reminder for when the portal opens so you don't miss a run. If your team is losing and you want to turn things around, get your friends involved. More players grinding Ragnarok Infinite on your side will make your team climb faster up the leaderboard.
There's also a leaderboard tracking the top players across the server. The top 100 players earn rewards, and the top 32 players get exclusive titles that show off their performance in the event.
The rewards include Gems and Trait Rerolls from Global Team Milestones and Personal Milestones, with the winning team getting extra rewards at the end of the event.
Divinity or Humanity – Which Side Should You Pick?
Honestly, it comes down to two things: the units and the current score gap. If one side is clearly dominating the leaderboard, jumping to the losing side could be the smarter play since you'd be contributing more meaningfully to a comeback.
In terms of aesthetics, Divinity leans into the gods-themed units from the Ragnarok collaboration, while Humanity goes with the human fighter side of the story. Both have solid units, so if the score gap isn't huge, just pick the side whose characters you like more.
