Follow these steps to unmute posts from someone:
1. Go to the person’s profile that you want to unmute in the Instagram app.
2. Tap on the Following button.
3. Choose Mute from the menu. You will see two toggles for Posts and Stories. Turn off the toggle for Posts to unmute their posts.
How to Unmute Stories on Instagram
Unmuting stories is similar to unmuting posts on Instagram. Open the person’s profile that you want to unmute. Press the Following button followed by Mute. Turn off the toggle next to Stories.
Note: Unmuting posts and stories work independently of each other. That is, when you unmute posts, it won’t unmute stories and vice versa.
