Whether it is anonymous browsing or getting past a website that is restricted in your country. If you have a VPN in your browser, you do not need an extra app on your phone. We’ve already talked about VPN browsers for iPhone, but if you’re on Android, you shouldn’t feel left out. Here are some of the best VPN browsers for Android you should check out.
VPN Browser for Android
Note that you are not completely hidden and at liberty to do whatever you want when using VPN browsers. Apps are in the business of making money and if there is no product, you are the product, unless it is backed by a non-profit organization. So, be wary of private browsers with free VPN features because most likely, they are tracking you. Otherwise, how do they make money?
1. Opera Browser With Free VPN
Opera browser is a common name when we talk about browsers. It not only has VPN in its name but is also one of our top choices because of its stability as compared to other browsers. You can toggle the VPN option from settings for all private tabs. In addition, you have the option to choose virtual locations such as America, Asia, Europe, etc.
Opera offers some additional features such as a native ad blocker and night mode. So if you need an unlimited VPN built in a browser and you don’t want to rely on unknown browsers, Opera is a good choice.

2. Tor Browser
If you are even a wee bit into security and privacy, you must have heard about Tor Browser. Since the company is considered a pioneer of private technologies and anonymous browsing, this open-source software should be on your must-try list. Although it isn’t a traditional VPN browser for Android, it still uses the Tor network to maintain your anonymity.
If you couple it with Orbot (free proxy app) you also get added security as you are able to enable proxies that work on other applications as well. It’s a great app for anonymity, however, not suitable for streaming due to lags.

3. Aloha Browser
This VPN browser for Android is considered one of the top alternatives when you’re looking for a VPN browser. You get unlimited VPN along with a host of other features such as private vault with fingerprint, VR media player, Wi-Fi sharing, etc. If you ask me, I like how easy it is to enable the VPN. All you have to do is tap on the shield icon on the top left corner of the page to get into secure browsing.
The app has a handy tracker that shows you the number of times your IP was hidden, the amount of data saved, the number of ads blocked, etc. You can also make use of the in-built AdBlock Plus plugin which can be enabled from the settings section. The app has a premium version ($2.99 per month ) that allows you to auto-start VPN, change server by country, and features a system-wide VPN.

4. Tenta Private VPN Browser
Although Tenta VPN browser is recommended, it’s still in beta and currently, you can’t download it. It’s still in the early access stage and the download slots are full. So keep a lookout when the early access download resumes again. Talking about the browser, you get a built-in VPN but unlike other browsers, you get full data encryption by default making browsing completely safe.
A unique feature in the app is the zone feature. It allows you to group multiple websites together based on a specific country’s server. The app is free however if you wish to use a systemwide VPN, it’ll cost you $7/month with a discount of $2/month if you opt for a yearly subscription.
5. Proxy Browser
This is a toned-down Android VPN browser that works well but nudges users with ads from time to time. The reason it made the list is that it allows you to quickly switch between locations from the top of the tab. There are plenty of proxies available such as the USA, Denmark, France, etc.
Like I said the only downside is the ads which might annoy some of you. If you don’t want that, you can upgrade to the premium version for a $4 one time fee.

7. Kiwi Browser
I’m sure, some of you must be wondering that this browser doesn’t have a built-in VPN so why is it on the list? Well, Kiwi is Chromium-based and allows you to add your favorite extensions on mobile just as you do on a PC. So all you have to do is find a VPN extension and install it.
This method has been used and suggested by many, however, when I tried using a free VPN extension, it didn’t quite work for me. So this one is a hit and miss, but I’ll still suggest you try this if you’re really curious about Chrome extensions on mobile.

8. Paid VPN Service
Using a paid service that allows you to secure your entire browsing experience across the device is always a better option. We at Techwiser have tried and tested a number of paid VPN services. When compared to the free VPN ones, they are more secure, offer more server locations, and even works with most of the streaming platforms.
If I’ve to pick one, I’d suggest PureVPN. It has modes such as streaming, internet freedom, security/privacy, file sharing, etc. One subscription will take you a long way as it’s available on most platforms such as macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, Android TV, etc.

Which VPN Browser to Use?
As I said, a paid VPN will any day perform faster and more efficiently than a free VPN. However, if you’re someone who doesn’t need to install and pay for extra service, the options listed above will fit your bill perfectly.
