Samsung Galaxy Watch Unpair or Disconnect

You can disconnect Samsung Galaxy Watch either temporarily or permanently from your phone. You can do so by turning off Bluetooth on your watch/mobile phone or using the Disconnect option in the Wearable app. But if you want to permanently disconnect the watch, you must unpair or reset it. You can do it via your phone or the watch. We have covered all the methods in this post. Let’s get started.

Disconnect Samsung Galaxy Watch Temporarily From Phone

When you disconnect the watch temporarily from your phone, it simply turns off notifications and stops syncing the watch to your phone. You won’t lose any data. That’s because it doesn’t reset or unpair the watch. You can easily connect them back without resetting the watch. Let’s dive into the methods.

1. By Turning off Bluetooth on Your Phone

One of the easiest ways to stop syncing the Samsung Galaxy watch to your phone is to simply turn off the Bluetooth on your phone. However, doing so will disconnect the phone from other Bluetooth devices as well.

If you are okay with that, swipe down twice from the notification panel to open Quick Settings on your phone. Tap on the Bluetooth tile to turn it off. When the Bluetooth tile is grey, it means it has been turned off.
