For the first time, Google released Pixel smartphones but without the latest version of Android. Pixel 9 series was launched with Android 14 preinstalled leaving some fans disappointed. Many were hoping to test Android 15 in September soon after the Apple event but it seems Android 15 has once again been delayed. According to Android Authority, Pixel phones won’t be getting Android 15 until October as the team is working on stability issues.
The release notes for the Android Beta Exit update were updated earlier today to confirm that Android 15 will indeed be arriving sometime in October. It further asks users to ignore the OTA update if they are waiting for the stable version.
