Wizard Alchemy has a lot of equipment and systems to navigate, and knowing which options are actually worth investing in can save you a lot of gold and time. This Wizard Alchemy Tier List ranks every major category in the game so you know exactly what to prioritize at each stage of progression.
Best Wizard Alchemy Wands Tier List

Wands are your most important piece of equipment, and upgrading them makes a noticeable difference to how quickly you can clear enemies and farm materials.
| Tier | Wand |
|---|---|
| S | Coreflame Rod, Ice Star Wand, Ember Staff |
| A | Trinity Silverbeak |
| B | Demon Trident, Azure Wand |
| C | Wingbird Wand |
| D | Twisted Wand |
S Tier
- Coreflame Rod is the best wand in the game right now. It costs 50,000 gold and is hidden at the top of the Volcano, but the stats justify every coin. It gives 30 attack, 30% attack boost, 30% crit rate, and 30 cooling reduction all in one package, making it the only wand that covers every major stat simultaneously.
- Ice Star Wand is the other S tier pick and arguably the better choice before you can afford the Coreflame Rod. Found behind the waterfall for 20,000 gold, it gives 20 attack, 5% attack boost, and 50 cooling reduction. That CDR stat is the highest in the game and makes your abilities fire significantly faster, which matters more than raw attack in most situations. I personally run the Ice Star over the Ember Staff because hitting abilities more frequently feels better than relying on crits that do not always land.
- Ember Staff sits at the top of the shop progression at 30,000 gold from the Treehouse location. It has the highest attack stat at 44, alongside 20% attack boost and 30% crit rate. It is strong but falls slightly behind the Ice Star because crit rate is less reliable than CDR for consistent damage output.
A Tier
- Trinity Silverbeak is the best wand available in World 2's shop at 3,333 gold. It has 33 attack, 333 HP, and 33 CDR, which is a surprisingly well-rounded set of stats for its price point. The HP bonus is a nice bonus that no other wand provides.
B Tier
- Demon Trident at 8,000 gold is a solid mid-game upgrade with 30 attack, 15% attack boost, and 10% crit rate. Nothing exceptional but a clear step up from the Azure Wand.
- Azure Wand at 1,000 gold gives 25 attack, 10% attack boost, and 20 CDR. It is the best affordable option for players who have cleared the early game and need something better than the Wingbird before they can reach the hidden wands.
C and D Tier
- Wingbird Wand at 200 gold is a fine first upgrade from the default but outclassed quickly. Twisted Wand is the starter wand and should be replaced as soon as possible.
Best Wizard Alchemy Brooms Tier List

Brooms let you fly around the map and are important for reaching World 2 since the portal requires flight to access.
| Tier | Broom |
|---|---|
| S | Lava Broom |
| B | Apprentice Broom |
S Tier
- Lava Broom costs 50,000 gold and is found to the right of the Alchemy area inside the Sea of Oblivion. Its stats of 25 acceleration and 50 max acceleration make it significantly faster than the Apprentice Broom and the obvious endgame travel option once you have the gold for it.
B Tier
- Apprentice Broom at 3,000 gold is your first and only option for flight in World 1. It is located underneath the Sea of Oblivion portal at Departure Isle beach. With 10 acceleration and 35 max acceleration, it is not fast but it gets the job done and is required to reach World 2 in the first place.
Best Wizard Alchemy Wizard Robes Tier List

Robes function as armor and give HP bonuses while also changing your character's appearance.
| Tier | Robe |
|---|---|
| S | Golden Reverie, Starlight |
| C | Starmoon |
S Tier
- Golden Reverie and Starlight both cost 12,000 gold from Roger's Shop and give the same +60 HP bonus, making them equal in terms of stats. The choice between them is purely cosmetic. Both sit comfortably at the top of the current roster and are worth buying as soon as you can afford them. Between the two I prefer Starlight, purely for how it looks since the stats are identical.
C Tier
- Starmoon at 1,800 gold only gives +30 HP which is half of what the top robes offer. It is worth picking up early when you cannot afford the others yet but should be replaced as soon as you have the gold.
Best Wizard Alchemy Wizard Hats Tier List

Hats work similarly to robes, providing HP bonuses and a cosmetic change.
| Tier | Hat |
|---|---|
| S | Lava Wizard Hat |
| A | Golden Reverie, Starlight |
| C | Starmoon |
S Tier
- Lava Wizard Hat is the clear best in slot. It costs 10,000 gold and is found inside a cave behind a lava waterfall on the right side of World 2's spawn point. It gives 40 HP alongside 100% Lava Resistance, which is a unique defensive stat that no other hat provides and makes it invaluable in World 2 areas with lava hazards. If you are spending time in World 2 this hat is basically mandatory in my opinion, the lava resistance alone makes it worth the trip to find it.
A Tier
- Golden Reverie at 6,000 gold and Starlight at 8,000 gold both give 40 HP and are the best options available in World 1. Starlight costs slightly more for the same stats so Golden Reverie has a minor value edge, though visually they differ which may influence your choice.
C Tier
- Starmoon at 1,200 gold gives only 20 HP. It is an early purchase you will replace quickly once you can afford better options.
Best Wizard Alchemy Races Tier List
Races give passive buffs that affect your stats and playstyle throughout the game. They are obtained through rerolls.
| Tier | Race |
|---|---|
| S | Thestrals, Stellar Ambassador |
| A | Ice Crystal, Fiendish Demon, Undead |
| B | Werewolf, Death Eater |
| C | Tree Spirit, Elf |
| D | Human |
S Tier
- Thestrals is the best race in the game at 1% drop rate. It gives attack damage boost, dark elemental damage increase, movement speed, jump height, and skill speed all in one package. The Disaster passive that applies continuous damage on hit is strong in farming monsters.
- Stellar Ambassador at 4% is the best realistic race to aim for. The Pursuit passive gives burst movement speed after dealing damage which helps with both mobility and aggressive playstyles, and the Celestial Realm buff adds 20 skill speed and 10% attack power on top of that. Realistically you are not going to roll Thestrals anytime soon so Stellar Ambassador is what I would personally aim for since 4% is at least achievable with a decent amount of rerolls.
A Tier
- Ice Crystal and Fiendish Demon both give 20% elemental damage bonuses for their respective elements which is strong if your potions match the element. Ice Crystal is slightly more defensive with max HP while Fiendish Demon trades that for movement speed.
- Undead is a strong defensive pick. The Immortality passive that triggers on fatal damage and restores 30% HP on a 180-second cooldown is genuinely useful for surviving, and the 30% max HP boost makes you significantly tankier overall.
B Tier
- Werewolf at 10% drop rate gives a solid mix of HP, attack, and movement speed. Nothing exceptional but consistently useful across all stages of the game.
- Death Eater at 10% is great for farming since the 5% HP restore on every kill keeps you healthy without needing to stop. The 10% attack damage boost from the Piousness passive is a nice addition but the health regen reduction is a drawback worth noting.
C and D Tier
Tree Spirit and Elf are both Uncommon at 15% and offer minor stat tweaks. Tree Spirit's movement speed penalty makes it less appealing than the Elf. Humans have no passive at all and should be rerolled away from as soon as possible.
Best Wizard Alchemy Potions Tier List

Potions are your spells and the core of your combat build. Every potion you craft gives you a different ability, from launching projectiles to summoning area damage effects. Getting the right potions early and refining them to higher tiers makes a bigger difference to your power level than almost anything else in the game.
| Tier | Potion |
|---|---|
| S | Frost Thorn, Night Wraith, Solar Flare, Molten Core |
| A | Dragon Breath, Radiant Sword, Thunder Revenge |
| B | Meteorite, Tornado, Lotus Bloom, Incendies |
| C | Earth Shield, Ice Turtle Armor, Bolide, Thunder Ball |
| D | Wind Blade, Rock Blast, Lithe Potion, Wood Splinter |
S Tier
- Frost Thorn is the best rare potion and the one you should be targeting as soon as you can reliably brew rares. It summons a path of thorns that damages enemies along its trajectory, and the combination of solid damage, good range, and a low cooldown makes it genuinely strong for farming.
- Night Wraith is the only legendary potion in World 1 and requires three furnace cores plus two dark shards to brew, which makes it expensive. It deals heavy dark magic damage in the targeted area, and the payoff is worth the investment once you have the materials saved up.
- Solar Flare is the stronger of the two World 2 legendaries. It deals both fire and dark damage to a targeted enemy which gives it the highest single-target damage output of any potion in the game. Both legendaries require five Lava Behemoth Remains each so they take time to craft.
- Molten Core summons a fireball with heavy AoE damage and is the other World 2 legendary. Slightly less damage than Solar Flare on a single target but better in crowd situations.
A Tier
- Dragon Breath summons a fire blast towards enemies. It requires a furnace core alongside goblin bone, copper earring, flame crest, and a fire shard to brew.
- Radiant Sword drops a giant sword from the sky that deals AoE damage in the targeted area. Strong for grouped enemies and one of my preferred epic picks because the AoE coverage is reliable even if your aim is slightly off.
- Thunder Revenge is the best accessible epic in World 2, summoning multiple lightning strikes across an area. It is easier to build toward than the legendaries and holds up well even in late World 2 content.
B Tier
- Meteorite summons a giant meteor for AoE damage and looks impressive but the cooldown holds it back compared to Frost Thorn at a similar stage of the game.
- Tornado sends a moving tornado through enemies in its path. It is decent but the movement of the tornado makes it unreliable against mobile enemies.
- Lotus Bloom and Incendies are both solid epics that cover AoE damage reasonably well but neither has the same impact as Dragon Breath or Radiant Sword.
C Tier
- Earth Shield is more of a defensive utility potion that summons a wall of rocks to block incoming attacks. Useful in specific situations but generally not what you want occupying a spell slot when farming.
- Ice Turtle Armor gives you temporary armor which again is situationally useful but not a priority.
- Bolide summons small fireballs over an area in World 2 and is fine for early World 2 but gets outclassed quickly.
- Thunder Ball fires a single lightning ball at a target. Single target and underwhelming at the rare tier compared to what else is available.
D Tier
Wind Blade, Rock Blast, Lithe Potion, and Wood Splinter are the bottom-tier options. Replace all of these as fast as you possibly can.
