There are two types of Wizard Hats: Permanent and Event. Permanent hats are available all the time, whereas Event hats are obtainable during specific events for a limited time. Here are the details:

Best Wizard Hats to Purchase
When it comes to the best wizard hats, there are two things I consider while choosing. First is their stats, and second is their appearance. Appearance is a great parameter for choosing a wizard hat if you're purely into aesthetics. However, if you want a hat that helps in your in-game progression, I recommend choosing based on stats. Here are the recommendations for the early, mid, and end-game content:
Early Game Wizard Hats
- Starmoon is the best choice for beginners in Wizard Alchemy.
- It grants 20 HP, which is best when you're just starting.
- This hat made early-game content easier for me while I was farming monsters to make quick bucks from quests.
Mid-Game Wizard Hats
- Reaching mid-game means you are fighting bosses for better drops and earning more money.
- If you're focused only on stats, then buy Golden Reverie. But if you want to look better and receive a decent HP boost, go for Starlight. Personally, Golden Reverie is best since it costs only 6k and provides the same amount of HP boost as Starlight.
Late-Game Wizard Hats
- The Pirate Captain Wizard Hat is the latest addition to the game. It provides the most HP, 80, among other hats.
- Getting it might be tough because you can't buy it with Gold like other Wizard Hats. Instead, you must use Lucky Coins in the wishing well on Pirate's Hideout location.
I suggest getting the Pirate Captain Wizard Hat and sticking with it, especially for F2P players, until the next update drops.
