Best Characters for Flight of Fancy W-Engine in ZZZ
Unlike other W-Engines that many characters can use, Flight of Fancy only works well with very specific characters. It needs someone who deals Ether damage AND has the Anomaly specialty.
Right now, Vivian Is the only character who can fully use Flight of Fancy’s power. The W-Engine works perfectly with her abilities. Maybe future characters with Ether and Anomaly types could use this weapon too, but for now, it’s really just made for Vivian.

How to Get Flight of Fancy in ZZZ 1.7?
You can only get Flight of Fancy from the Dissonant Sonata banner, which started today (April 23, 2025) and will end on May 14, 2025, during Version 1.7’s first phase. If you’re planning to get Vivian, who is on banner at the same time, you might want to try getting her special weapon too. Like all S-Rank items, you’ll need either good luck or a lot of Polychromes to get it.

Is Flight of Fancy Worth It?
If you plan to use Vivian a lot, Flight of Fancy is definitely her best weapon. The way it works with her abilities creates a strong combo that makes her deal much more damage. However, if you don’t plan to use Vivian, this weapon isn’t very useful for your account. Unlike some other S-Rank W-Engines that work well on many characters, Flight of Fancy really only works well with Vivian.
Remember that while special weapons make characters stronger, you don’t absolutely need them to beat the game. Think about your resources and team before deciding whether to try for Flight of Fancy.
