Position Overview:
We seek a creative and skilled Script Writer to join our YouTube team. An ideal candidate can craft engaging, informative, and entertaining scripts for our videos. For that, we seek an enthusiast with a passion for consumer technology, a strong understanding of YouTube content creation, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in clear words.
Responsibilities:
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest smartphone launches, news, and current market trends.
- Test smartphones, laptops, and other wearable gadgets.
- Ensure scripts are well-researched and written as per TechWiser style and standards.
- Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop new video ideas.
- Working closely with the production team to ensure scripts are effectively translated into TechWiserās standards for videos.
- Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from the content team and audience engagement metrics.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a script writer for videos, preferably in the tech industry or digital media industry.
- A solid understanding of the latest gadgets, laptops, smartphones, and trends is appreciated.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas and concepts for videos.
- Strong research skills and the ability to analyze, summarize, and verify information from a variety of sources.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- A basic understanding of video editing and shooting is a big plus.
