What Is Not Changing

More V-Bucks Every Month

Fortnite Crew Changes Explained

Every subscriber now gets at least 1,000 V-Bucks a month, up from 800. The longer you stay subscribed, the more you get, up to 1,600.

TierMonths SubscribedMonthly V-Bucks
Core1 to 2 months1,000
Bronze3 to 5 months1,200
Silver6 to 11 months1,400
Gold12+ months1,600

After December 5, your tier is based on how many consecutive months you have been subscribed in the past 12 months. The new Crew tab in the game will show where you start on December 5.

  • Example: If you subscribed on June 15 and never stopped, you reach 7 months on your December 15 billing date, which puts you in Silver.

If you left and want to come back, the date matters:

  • December 6 to December 31, 2026 (11:59 PM ET): Your tier is based on your most recent continuous subscription period in the past 12 months. If that was a 3 month stretch earlier this year, you start at Bronze with 1,200 V-Bucks.
  • After December 31, 2026: Earlier subscriptions no longer count, and you start at Core.

Crew members earn +20% Fortnite XP. Players in your party who do not have Crew get a +10% XP boost while they play with you. These boosts do not stack with each other. Several Crew members in a party do not raise the bonus, and a player without Crew gets one 10% boost no matter how many Crew members are in the squad.

Crew Pack Outfits Are Ending

Crew Pack Outfits are going away, and December’s pack will be the last one. Subscribers will get that final pack throughout December. If you already own Crew Packs, you will not lose anything. All remaining Legacy Styles for the Crew Packs you own, including Outfits, Pickaxes, and Back Blings, will be granted in December. This applies whether or not you are still subscribed.

OG Pass ends on December 5, with what Epic calls a dramatic finish at the end of Chapter 1: OG Season X. Epic says the next era of Fortnite OG will arrive in late 2027, so there is a long gap with no OG Pass.

Is It Worth It?

On paper, this is a better deal for anyone who stays subscribed. The price is the same; you get more V-Bucks every month, and the Gold tier gives you 800 more V-Bucks a month than before. New and returning subscribers start lower, so the extra V-Bucks come with time. The trade-offs are that OG Pass is going, and there will be no new Crew Pack Outfits each month.
