The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 campaign hides several locked doors, safes, toolboxes, and shipping containers that you can open using codes. Some contain useful collectibles, while others hold notes and contraband that you need for completion-related achievements. There are 13 codes to find across four campaign missions. You can solve the puzzles yourself by searching for clues, or use the codes in this guide to open every lock without wasting time. Mission: Following Orders

1. First House – Red Toolbox

Enter the first house and head into the room on your right. Open the cabinet to find the locked red toolbox.

To find the code, head to the kitchen and open the first cupboard on your left. You'll find a note called Baekseolgi-Tteok Recipe.

The note lists four ingredients:

Note: Flour, then water, then raisins – skip the salt.

Use the quantities for flour, water, and raisins in that order to get the code 214. Return to the toolbox and enter the code to open it.

Inside, you'll find heart medicine and a note called Note From Your Friend. Collect both if you're going for all the mission's notes and contraband.

Mission: Assassins

1. Palace – Library Door

Reach the library and make your way through the area until you reach the locked service door at the far end. After the encounter with Shin, Lt. Ko provides the code over the radio.

Enter 5523 to unlock the door and continue through the palace.

2. Palace – Kitchen Exit Door

Continue through the palace until you reach the locked door beyond the main kitchen. This door leads to the large garden behind the palace.

Lt. Ko gives you the code over the radio. Enter 7632 to unlock the door and head outside.

3. Palace Garden – Bunker Door

Make your way to the far end of the garden and look for the large statue. Clear the enemies around the area before approaching the bunker entrance behind the statue.

Lt. Ko provides the final code over the radio. Enter 9103 to unlock the bunker door and continue the mission.

Mission: Stranded

Stranded contains eight locked locations: six shipping containers and two hidden bunkers. Unlike the previous missions, this area is more open, so you'll need to explore the map to find each lock.

Use the coordinates below to locate the containers and bunkers. Keep the leading zeros when entering codes, as they are part of the combination.

1. Base Camp – Shipping Container

Head to Base Camp and look for the locked shipping container. Use the coordinates to locate it.

Enter 0024 to open the container.

2. Near the Cliffs – Shipping Container

Travel to the cliffs near Base Camp and search for the locked shipping container.

Enter 0600 to open the container.

3. South of the Jamming Station – Shipping Container

Head south of the Jamming Station and locate the locked shipping container.

Enter 8609 to unlock it.

4. Southeast Village – Shipping Container

Travel to the southeast village and look for the locked shipping container.

Enter 0078 to open it.

5. North of the Big Sign – Shipping Container

Head to the large sign on the map and search the area north of it for the locked shipping container.

Enter 1234 to unlock it.

6. Small Northeast Island – Shipping Container

Travel to the small island in the northeastern part of the map and locate the locked shipping container.

Enter 6789 to open it.

7. Farm Field – Hidden Bunker

Head to the farm field and search for the hidden bunker entrance. Check the keypad near the entrance.

Enter 0330 to unlock the bunker.

8. Southwest Island – Hidden Bunker

Travel to the southwest island and search for the hidden bunker entrance.

Enter 0008 to unlock the bunker.

Note: Stranded coordinates may vary slightly depending on your position on the map. If you can't find a lock at the exact coordinates, search the nearby area.

Mission: Escape

1. Detention Center – Office Safe

After leaving the barracks in the detention center, look for an unlocked door on the right side of the hallway. Enter the room to find a safe.

To find the code, locate the Updated Code note in the office area. The note provides the combination you need.

Enter 8410 to open the safe and collect the dog tags inside.
