Blizzard sat down at BlizzCon 2026 to give Diablo 4 players the clearest picture yet of what is coming to the game over the next year and beyond. With Season of Hell's Legacy already live as Season 15, the focus of the panel was mostly on the future, and there is a lot of it. Here is everything Blizzard revealed about Diablo 4 future content and the roadmap ahead.
Amazon Class Is Coming in 2027
The headline announcement for Diablo 4's future is the Amazon class arriving as a Class Pack in the first half of 2027. She is a female-only class built around three design pillars: battle expertise, unrivaled athleticism, and mythical magic.
Four archetypes are shaping everything about how she plays. The Champion is a sword-and-shield melee fighter who buffs both herself and allies. The Skirmisher is an agile hit-and-run combatant built around the Javelin. The Ranger is a precision tactical archer who snipes enemies from a distance. The Commander dominates the battlefield by calling phalanxes of Valkyries to fight at her side.

What Is Coming in Future Seasons
Beyond the Amazon, Blizzard gave a brief glimpse at the future content roadmap regarding upcoming seasons. The Death Cult storyline that began in Season of Death's Awakening and continues in the current season will carry forward into the future, meaning the larger narrative thread is not finished yet.
On the gameplay side, future seasons will bring further refinements to War Plans, including playlist customisation and seasonal variety. Itemisation and build customisation are also getting expanded to support new build diversity, giving players more ways to experiment with character progression as the game continues to develop.

What Is New in Season 15 Right Now
For players jumping in for the first time, Season of Hell's Legacy is already live and packed with content worth knowing about. The season is the centrepiece of Diablo's 30th anniversary celebration and introduces Waking Nightmares, which are dungeons recreating iconic encounters from Diablo 1, Hellfire, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, and Diablo Immortal, all rebuilt with updated graphics.
The season also brings back Deckard Cain and nearly twenty classic bosses like Nihlathak and the Maggot Queen, alongside heroes like Leah from previous games. Nine legacy Uniques, including Leoric's Crown and the Stone of Jordan, make their permanent debut. The Splinter of Evil system lets you claim a piece of one of the three Prime Evils and pursue a dedicated reputation track with unique powers. Rebirth also returns as a fan-favourite feature, and Mythic crafting received significant improvements through the Horadric Cube, with War Plans progress now being shared across your account.
Diablo 5 Officially Revealed at BlizzCon 2026
Blizzard did not stop at Diablo 4 future content. The biggest surprise of BlizzCon 2026 was the official reveal of Diablo 5 targeting a Spring 2029 release. The game is set one century after the events of Diablo 4 in a world where Sanctuary has fallen to Diablo's will entirely.
Blizzard also confirmed that Diablo 5 will launch with more classes than any previous Diablo game at release with the three announced so far being just the beginning of the full roster reveal. Further details are expected as development progresses toward the 2029 window.
