The Scarlet Doll Quest in Dress to Impress (DTI) is a quest that involves hunting down five hidden gems scattered all over the map, and once you've got them all, you can unlock a secret cave with a reward inside. If you've been struggling to find the gems or just want to make sure you're not missing any, this guide walks you through every single one.
All 5 Gems in DTI Scarlet Doll Quest
Before you find the gems, you'll need to be in a Free Play server for all of this to work. If you're in the wrong server type, the locations won't be accessible.
1. Green Gem – The Backrooms
The first gem is hidden inside the Backrooms. Leave the main dressing and runway building and walk down toward the street. Near the black tunnel, turn left and enter the blue door on the rock.
Once you're inside, follow these steps in order:
- Find Lana and go past the door near her.
- Walk past the chairs and follow the path ahead.
- Climb onto the runway on your left, then head around behind it until you find some empty wardrobes.
- Turn left where you can see a small gap. Enter it and turn left. You'll see a Lana cardboard cutout with a door behind it.
- Go through that door and start digging for treasure.
- The fake gems will disappear, and the real one will be left behind for you.
2. Blue Gem – The House and the Recording Studios
This gem is a two-part process and takes a bit of backtracking. Start by heading to The House location and entering the mint green house. Climb up the ladder inside and make your way to the shelf room. Look for the hammer sitting on the bookshelf and pick it up.
Head back outside and look for the big coconut just across the house, close to some fruit stall. Use the hammer to smash it open and grab the coin that falls out. Now take that coin over to the Recording Studios and find the snowy room with a fountain inside. Walk up to the fountain and toss your coin in to make a wish. You'll receive a blue gem right away.
3. Yellow Gem - House Lanterns
The yellow gem comes from lighting five unlit lanterns that are hanging on the sides of buildings around the map. Here's where each lantern is:

| 2nd | Take the stairs left of the Recording Studio and follow the path to the orange house. It's beside the door. |
| 3rd | At the Freeplay entrance, go up the left stairs and look right toward the blue house. |
| 4th | Back at the Freeplay entrance, go down the left stairs and follow the path to the orange house with a yellow and green door. |
| 5th | Head toward the road beside the beach, find the pink house on the right, climb the stairs, and light it. |
Once all five are lit, you'll receive the yellow gem.
4. Pink Gem – Beach Ball Mini-Game
Before you head out for this one, you need to set something up in the dressing room. Equip the soccer ball and change its look to a beach ball.
Once that's done, head to the beach volleyball area and talk to the NPC near it to kick off the beach ball mini-game. Your goal is to hit 20 beach balls total. You'll do this by standing in the blue circles and timing your hits as each ball comes toward you. After that, a pink gem will appear beside the left side of the volleyball net. Go grab it.
5. Red Gem – Bird Mini-Game
Right after the beach ball area, move to the right side and keep walking forward until you spot a bird upside down, just near a tree. Interact with the bird to trigger a mini-game. For this one, you need to fly through the rings, and you need to score +35 points to win. Once you hit that score, the mini-game ends, and you earn a red gem for your trouble.
How to Unlock Cave and Claim Scarlet Doll in DTI
With all five gems in hand, go back to the cave. Press the heart icon to get in. Inside, you'll need to jump across bubbles and floating objects toward the left side of the cave where the treasure chest is sitting. Open it to collect the Scarlet Doll.
