Ace’s Flame Flame Devil Fruit in Fortnite is one of the Mythic items added to the One Piece x Fortnite Treasure Hunters event. When you eat it, you turn into Portgas D. Ace and get two fire attacks for the rest of the match. This guide covers how the fruit works, what each ability does, and how to find it.
How the Flame Flame Fruit Works
The Flame Flame Fruit (Mera Mera no Mi) is a Mythic item. When you consume it, your character transforms into Portgas D. Ace. The power cannot be dropped. Once you pick it up and eat it, it stays with you until the match ends, so you do not have to worry about losing it in a fight. The flip side is that you cannot pass it to a teammate.
Flame Flame Fruit Abilities
The fruit gives you two attacks, one on each fire button.
| Ability | Button | What It Does |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Gun | Primary fire | Shoots rapid flaming projectiles that deal 30 damage per hit |
| Fire Fist | Alt fire | Charges a large wave of fire that deals continuous damage, then ends with a splash area attack. It can reach up to 150 damage and has a cooldown |
Fire Gun is your steady attack. At 30 damage per hit, it adds up quickly when the shots land one after another. Fire Fist is the burst move. Because it has to charge, it works best when you start it from cover or when an enemy is busy elsewhere. The splash at the end also makes it useful against groups.

How to Get the Flame Flame Fruit
Devil Fruits show up during the match instead of being in a fixed spot. The Flame Flame Fruit arrives through a mid-game Rift event on the Treasure Hunters Mini Season map. When one Rifts onto the island, all players get an alert, so everyone knows it is there.
- Watch for the alert during a match.
- Head to where the fruit has landed.
- Pick it up and consume it to become Ace.
Since every player is told about it, expect a fight around the spot, so arrive with healing and a plan to get out.
