Gears of War: E-Day has optional Secondary Objectives that take you off the main path and reward you with useful weapon Mods and upgrades. Some are available immediately, while others only appear after you reach a specific point in the story. Here are all the Secondary Objectives in Gears of War: E-Day, their locations, rewards, and unlock requirements.

What Are Secondary Objectives
Secondary Objectives are optional side missions found throughout the campaign. They don't affect the Main Objective, so you can skip them if you're rushing through the story.
However, they're worth completing if you want additional weapon upgrades and want to explore more of each area.
Tips to Find Secondary Objectives
- Check your map whenever the nearby-objective notification appears.
- Explore buildings instead of only following the main path.
- Return to previous areas after completing important Main Objectives.
- Watch for story requirements, as some Secondary Objectives won't appear immediately.
- Complete them for Mods if you're looking to improve your campaign loadout.
Secondary Objectives are small detours, but they're worth taking when you're exploring E-Day. The extra weapon Mods can improve your loadout, and some objectives are easy to miss if you follow the main path.
If one isn't showing up, don't worry. Progress the story, check your map, and revisit the area later.

- Family Reunion appears after Get Mags' meds.
- Black Raven Down becomes available after entering the Octus Tribunal Muster Point.
- Lone Wolf becomes available at the Octus Tribunal Muster Point during Support Cpl. Harris at the hotel.
Secondary Objective Rewards

Most Gears of War: E-Day campaign Secondary Objectives reward you with weapon Mods. You can equip these Mods through Supply Caches, giving you another reason to explore instead of sticking strictly to the main path.
Secondary Objectives also appear in Horde Siege. These can involve tasks such as eliminating high-value targets, closing E-holes, or defusing bombs. Completing them rewards the squad with Weapon Parts, Perks, and Energy.
