GTA 6 has appeared in a massive 192GB archive of Rockstar Games' internal files that surfaced online. However, this isn't the huge GTA 6 leak you might expect. Most of the archive focuses on GTA 5, including cancelled DLC, beta assets, unused dialogue, and development files. There are few GTA assets like maps. Let's break it down.
GTA 6 Map Assets Are in the Leak
The archive contains some early GTA 6 map assets, including low-quality renders of parts of Leonida and Vice City.
Some of the locations spotted so far include:
- Vice City's downtown area
- An international airport
- A sports stadium
- Docks and a cruise terminal
- Areas referencing Florida and the Everglades
Don't expect these files to reveal the final GTA 6 map, though. They appear to come from much earlier development, with several locations still looking like rough blockouts.
GTA 5's Cancelled Liberty City DLC Is the Big Discovery
The more interesting discovery is actually from GTA 5.
The leak contains files from Rockstar's cancelled Liberty City DLC, often referred to as Liberty V. Dataminers have found shoreline audio zones and map data that help reconstruct parts of the planned expansion.
The version of Liberty City appears significantly larger than the GTA 4 map, with additional terrain and expanded landmasses.
There is already speculation that Rockstar could reuse some of this work for future GTA 6 DLC, but there's no confirmation.
More Agent Trevor Content Has Surfaced
The archive also contains additional material from GTA 5's cancelled single-player DLC, commonly known as Agent Trevor.
The files reportedly include:
- CIA and international missions
- A huge underground facility
- An Arab mansion
- Space-themed missions and a spaceship
- Unused dialogue and music
- Early vehicles and other test assets
One particularly strange discovery is an unused GTA 5 ending where Trevor gets frozen and shattered by liquid nitrogen instead of meeting his fate in the final oil tanker sequence.

The Leak Is Still Being Explored
YouTuber and X user @TJGM_ has been documenting many of the discoveries, including the early GTA 6 map renders, Liberty City expansion, unused missions, and cut dialogue.
Other dataminers have also uncovered beta vehicles and various Rockstar development assets.
With such a huge archive still being examined, more discoveries could emerge.
For now, though, don't treat this as a major new GTA 6 leak. Most of what has surfaced is fascinating GTA 5 development history, while the GTA 6 material appears to be old and limited.
