A leaked TV schedule may have just revealed a clue about Rockstar's next big marketing move for GTA 6, and it showed up somewhere most people would never get to see. A news station employee spotted something interesting on an internal schedule, adding another clue to what Take-Two has been hinting at for months. Here's what he found, how credible the GTA 6 leak is, and when you might actually see it on TV.

What the GTA 6 TV Spot Leak Shows

The leak came from a Reddit user who says they work at a news station they didn't name. They shared an internal programme schedule that lists a "GTA VI TV SPOT" running for about 45 seconds. The post was deleted soon after, but X users had already reshared it. The Reddit user also posted a video of the station's interior to show they really work there.

There's one big missing piece in this leak. No air date or time is listed. According to the poster, stations often get these schedules around 3 weeks in advance without exact dates attached.

Is this leak believable? Well, I'd call it fairly believable, but not confirmed. The video helps, though it only proves the person has access to a station, not that the schedule is real. What makes me lean toward it being legit is the length. Most TV ads run 15 or 30 seconds.

A 45-second slot costs more and usually means a company is spending real money on the campaign. That reminds us of the statement from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick saying GTA 6 still needs aggressive marketing, which might be a 45-second TV spot.

When Could the GTA 6 TV Spot Air?

Nobody knows for sure yet. But if that 3-week window is accurate, the ad could show up around late October. Exact air times for the TV spot and the launch haven't been announced yet.

We also still don't know if we will have new footage or not, but maybe. Rockstar ran TV ads for Red Dead Redemption 2 before its October 2018 launch, and those mostly reused trailer clips. If this spot airs after Trailer 3, it could borrow footage from it. We'll just have to wait for it.
