The Hogyoku Fragments Quest in Sailor Piece is what unlocks the Soul Society Island, which is one of the most exciting areas in the game. To complete it, you need to find six Hogyoku Fragments hidden across different islands, and you have to collect them in order. Once you do, a portal opens up, and you're in. In this Sailor Piece Hogyoku Fragments Quest guide, I will walk you through exactly where every fragment is.

How to Start the Sailor Piece Hogyoku Fragments Quest

Before you go hunting for fragments, you need to actually start the quest first. Head over to the Hueco Mundo Island location and look for the quest NPC named Gin. He's standing on the far left side of the island. Talk to him, and the quest begins. However, you need to be player level 8,500 first to be able to start the quest. From there, you're looking for six fragments spread across the map.

Remember that for this quest, you need to collect the fragments in order. You can't just grab them randomly and hope it counts. Follow the sequence below, and you'll be fine.

Sailor Piece Hogyoku Fragments Quest Locations

FragmentIsland
Fragment #1Snow Island
Fragment #2Shibuya Station
Fragment #3Hueco Mundo
Fragment #4Shinjuku Island
Fragment #5Slime Island
Fragment #6Judgement Island

Here's a breakdown of every fragment and exactly where to find it.

Hogyoku Fragment #1 – Snow Island

Go to Snow Island and head toward the center of the island. There will be an igloo with a snowman at the front. Run past it and keep jumping toward the back. You'll spot the fragment sitting on a tree branch near a small pond.

Hogyoku Fragment #2 – Shibuya Station

Next, teleport to Shibuya Station Island. Find the building at the center of the island that has red, green, and blue LED screens on top. Fly or climb your way up there. The fragment is sitting right under the green screen, in the corner of the rooftop.

Hogyoku Fragment #3 – Hueco Mundo

Although this one is located on the same island where you start the quest, remember that you can't take this one first, unless you obtain the first two fragments. Look for the Aizen world boss spawn and then check the brown pipe right next to him. The fragment is sitting on top of it.

Hogyoku Fragment #4 – Shinjuku Island

Head to Shinjuku Island and make your way to the slanted buildings on the right side of the map. Go towards the taller building and climb to the spot where I marked below in the picture. Once you're up there, jump across to a small rocky slab or platform sticking out from the building right across from it. The fragment is sitting on that ledge.

Hogyoku Fragment #5 – Slime Island

Once you've teleported to Slime Island, run along the left edge of the island. You'll notice lots of Slime Warriors; Just keep walking on the left side. Just behind that area is a large tree. Climb or jump onto the tree branch, and the fragment is right there.

Hogyoku Fragment #6 – Judgement Island

The last one is on Judgement Island. From the spawn point, run along the right edge of the island. You'll come across a large iceberg. Drop down toward the edge of it, and you'll find the fragment on a ledge near the corner.

How to Get to Soul Society Island in Sailor Piece

Once you've collected all six fragments, go back to Gin on Hueco Mundo and talk to him. A Hogyoku Portal will appear right next to him. You have 120 seconds to step through it before it closes, so don't waste time. Walk through, and you're on Soul Society Island.

After your first visit, Soul Society Island shows up in the regular Teleport Portal menu, so you can jump there any time without repeating the quest. Here's what you'll find when you get there:

NPC / ContentDetails
True Aizen SummonerSummons the True Aizen boss using Chrysalis Sigils
True Aizen NPCGives you the True Aizen sword in exchange for specific items
Quest 17 NPC (Orihime)Gives you the Quincy Purge quest
Quincy EnemiesLevel 10,750 enemies with both close-range and long-range attacks

Soul Society also has some great drops to chase. Here's the loot table for what you can get:

DropDrop Rate
Poison Ring24.04%
Divinity Essence8.22%
Manipulator Outfit2.15%
Transcendent Core2.02%
Evolution Fragment1.01%

Hogyoku Fragment Drop Item

There's also a separate Hogyoku Fragment item that drops from the Aizen world boss on Hueco Mundo. This is different from the quest fragments. It's a Mythical-rarity item with only a 3.6% drop chance, so it can take a while to get.

You need to be at least Level 5,000 before taking on Aizen. If you want to boost your odds, make sure you're using Runes that increase your Luck stat. The more damage you deal to Aizen, the better your drop chances, so try to contribute as much as possible in the fight. Other than the Hogyoku Fragment item, you can also get Dungeon Keys by defeating him.

Soul Society is one of the best end-game spots in Sailor Piece right now, and the Hogyoku Fragments Quest is your only way in. Follow the fragment locations in order, talk to Gin when you're done, and you'll be there in no time. For more codes, tips, and info about the game, check out our dedicated Sailor Piece wiki.
