A massive Steam leak may have revealed achievement lists for more than 50 upcoming games, including major titles like Fable, Persona 6, Kingdom Hearts IV, Gears of War: E-Day, and Minecraft Dungeons II. The achievement lists appeared on Exophase, a website that tracks gaming trophies and achievements, on September 8, 2026. Even more interestingly, some games included in the leak haven't been officially announced yet.

How Did the Steam Leak Happen

According to Exophase's owner, the data appears to have come directly from Steam's API. The achievements were apparently accessible through the API, allowing Exophase's automated system to scan and add them to its database.

This means the incident doesn't appear to be the result of a data breach at Exophase. Instead, it seems Steam accidentally made achievement information for unreleased games accessible.

Some Achievements Could Contain Spoilers

The leak is particularly interesting for games such as Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts IV, where achievement names may reveal characters, locations, story events, or other details that developers haven't officially discussed.

Other upcoming games, including Gears of War: E-Day and Silent Hill: Townfall, could also have minor spoilers hidden within their achievement lists.

That said, the information should be taken with caution. Developers can change or remove content during development, meaning leaked achievements aren't necessarily representative of the final game.

Take Steam Leak With a Grain of Salt

While the achievement data reportedly came directly from Steam's API, none of these details have been officially confirmed by the respective publishers.

Steam achievements are eventually made public for released games anyway, so the biggest issue here is simply that this information may have become visible far earlier than intended.

Still, seeing achievement lists for more than 50 upcoming games- including several potentially unannounced projects is a pretty significant leak.

For now, though, don't treat every listing or achievement as confirmation until the developers themselves say otherwise.
