All Quest NPCs in Storage Hunters

Storage Hunters on Roblox has a bunch of quest NPCs spread across the entire map, and it's really easy to miss a few of them if nobody points you in the right direction. I've tracked down all the known quest NPCs in Storage Hunters, so you can stop wandering and start grinding with a plan.

Storage Hunters Quest NPCs Explained

1. Billy

Billy is the very first NPC you will encounter in the game. His Junk Collector quest repeats over and over. You grind Junkyard auctions, hand in the required items, and collect your gems. It's repetitive, but the payout stacks up nicely the more you do it. He also gives you the Junk Flipper quest, where you have to repair items using the wrench he gives you as a reward.

2. Gas Station NPC

Just a short walk from the Junkyard, this NPC has exactly two quests, and then he's done. The first is called Forecourt Cleanup, where he sends you back to the Junkyard for specific items. The second one points you toward the Back Alley. Clear both, and you're finished with him for good.

3. Basketball NPC

Near the Back Alley, this NPC will give you the Bouncing Around quest, where you need to find six basketballs from the Junkyard. They drop as uncommon items, which sounds manageable until you actually try it. The best trick here is to actually lower your luck stat. It sounds backwards, but lower luck increases uncommon drop rates.

4. Basketball Ring NPC

Right next to the basketball NPC, this one wants basketball rings from Back Alley. They are rare drops, but the overall grind feels much shorter than the basketball quest. However, you need to reach $3,000 net worth to start this quest.

5. Sal

Sal is similar to Billy at the Junkyard. He has a simple repeating quest. Just keep running auctions in the area and turning in items.

6. Black Market Guy

This one is tucked behind the main Back Alley section. He is located right adjacent to the building where Sal stands. Just walk to the back area, and you will find him standing on the stairs. You need to reach $5,000 net worth to start his quest, though.

He starts by asking for regular weapons from Back Alley, but after a while, he upgrades his demands to legendary weapons. If you've been grinding Back Alley long enough, you'll have plenty of those anyway. I haven't personally finished his full quest chain yet, but based on how other quests behave, there's probably an endpoint somewhere.

7. Ted

Ted runs a repeating area-specific quest at the Farmyard. Do your auctions there and hand in whatever he needs, just like Billy and Sal. One important thing: You need a minimum $10,000 net worth unlocked before you can even enter the Farmyard, so grind that up first.

8. Fishing Pond NPC

Head past the Farmyard to the pond and look for this NPC on the dock. Same as Ted, you will need to reach $10,000 net worth first to start his quests. You will need a fishing rod to do it, which you can get from Farmyard auctions. The fishing rod comes in three tiers – rare, epic, and legendary – and higher rarity means more catches per session.

9. Steve

Steve is the late-game NPC in the Shipyard area and requires a $100,000 net worth just to access his area. His quest starts with 90 small container auctions, then automatically shifts to 15 large container auctions once you hit that milestone.

You can stack multiple quests at once, which makes your sessions way more efficient since you're working toward several goals at the same time. Don't skip the repeating quest NPCs in Storage Hunters, thinking they're pointless. The gems actually add up fast, and most of them seem to evolve rather than run forever.

10. Kyle

Kyle is a Jurassic event-exclusive NPC. You can find him in the Jurassic Area, standing in front of a tent. He gives access to the Jurassic Collection Index and quests that reward Gems and Drinks upon completion.

11. Annie

You can find Annie near the Prehistoric Car stand in the Jurassic Area. She gives you quests, which, upon completion, help you get the Prehistoric Car. The first quest is to find and repair three Broken Prehistoric Items, and the second is to find 12 Jurassic-themed items. After that, she gives you a quest to find the Prehistoric Car. Note that you won't be able to find the car without completing the first two quests.

12. Surf-Man

Surf-Man is located at Lucky Beach and offers quests focused on Beach Hut Garage auctions, collecting Lucky Beach items, selling items, and maintaining their condition. Players can unlock his questline after reaching $2,500,000 net worth and completing the bridge quest.

13. Tollbooth Guard

Tollbooth Guard is found at the Lucky Beach Bridge and acts as a gatekeeper. Players must complete his quest by delivering a Coffee Machine to unlock access to Lucky Beach.

14. Bobby

You can find Bobby outside the entrance of Junk Yard, and he will give you 4 quests that reward permanent Luck.

15. Terry

Terry lives in the house just across the Farmyard. His quest is connected to Bobby's.

16. Alien Boss

The Alien Boss is the main quest giver during the Alien Invasion event. You can find this NPC in the event area, where they also show the Alien Invasion collection and explain the rewards available from alien items.

17. Engineer

The Engineer is located at the Power Plant and is looking for the missing parts needed to restore it. You need at least $7,500 net worth to access this quest line. The parts are scattered throughout Power Plant auctions. Each part you install is also paid back at its full value.

18. Mad Scientist

The Mad Scientist is also located at the Power Plant, but this NPC only becomes available after completing the Engineer's entire quest line. Once unlocked, the Mad Scientist gives you the final quest related to constructing the Weather Machine.

19. Michael

Michael is one of the major quest NPCs in Business Bay. His quest line unlocks at $17,500,000 net worth and contains a long chain of auction challenges. The documented quests start with High End Apartment auctions before moving into more difficult Luxury Hotel and later Business Bay challenges.

20. Building Inspector

The Building Inspector stands in front of Business Bay and is responsible for the new Business Bay Plots. This quest is connected to the Police Update's new content. To finish the available plots, you need to find construction equipment from different areas of the map.

21. Tim

Tim is located at the Warehouse and runs Delivery Orders. You can choose between Easy, Medium, and Hard requests, then find and deliver the exact item requested. The money reward varies depending on the delivery order, while the Diamond reward is fixed based on the selected difficulty.

22. Mike

Mike is found inside the Jail at the Police Station as part of the new Police Update. He needs help gathering supplies for a jailbreak before you can dig him out. After escaping, Mike can also be found in the Back Alley, where he sets up a repeatable Bank Heist.

23. Wild West Barista

The Wild West Barista can be found at the Wild West Market. Unlike most quest NPCs, the Barista acts as a vendor and lets you trade random items for Gold Nuggets.

24. Gold Panner

The Gold Panner is located in the Wild West and introduces players to the gold panning system. The NPC also gives you your first Gold Pan for free.

To pan for gold, fill the pan with sand, wash it at the water's edge, and collect the Gold Nuggets that appear. Each collection uses one of the pan's limited uses.

25. Mayor

The Mayor is one of the main NPCs in the Wild West area. The NPC introduces the area's garages, jobs, and different ways to earn Gold Nuggets.

The Wild West has four garage tiers, with entry requirements of 10, 20, 30, and 40 Gold Nuggets. Higher-tier garage auctions also count toward jobs for the lower tiers. The Mayor also points players toward Golden Nugget Safes, which can be opened with the Locksmith or a lockpick.

The Mayor has six quests:

26. Sheriff

The Sheriff handles the area's outlaw bounties. Defeat an outlaw and turn in the body to receive 10 Gold Nuggets. Favorited outlaws and quest cargo remain with you if you die, while other uncollected bodies disappear after 10 minutes.

The Sheriff also organizes the town's defense against bandit raids. Talk to the Sheriff while carrying an active gun to start the defense. You then need to survive and help clear five waves of bandits, totaling 20 outlaws.

A successful town defense rewards 200 Gold Nuggets, while defeated outlaws can still provide their normal 10 Gold Nugget bounty. The event can be started once every 30 minutes, meaning a solo player can earn up to 400 Gold Nuggets per defense.

27. Mailman

The Mailman runs a delivery quest chain. The quest requires you to collect packages from different areas of the Storage Hunters map and return them to complete the delivery.

28. Horse Keeper

The Horse Keeper runs the Horse Race in the Wild West. The race is a multiplayer hurdle course where players compete for Gold Nugget prizes. Bring a Horse, Chestnut Horse, or White Horse and wait in the circle beside the Horse Keeper. Up to eight players can participate, with NPC riders filling empty places.

Races start every 15 minutes, followed by a 5-minute cooldown after finishing a race.
