The Wrath is the latest event introduced via the Anime Vanguards Wrathful Assault update. It is a 15-wave event that happens on the Shining Castle map. You can play the event in Normal and Hard modes. The event has a unique mechanic that lets you choose one of the seven sins before the match starts. This article details everything you need to know about the Anime Vanguards Wrath update event.
How to Start the Wrath Event in Anime Vanguards
Start the Anime Vanguards Wrath event by visiting the History's Strongest NPC in the lobby. He is in the center of the lobby near The Doctor NPC. After interacting with the NPC, select the Wrath Event button to start the event.
You can also access it via the Event tab. Click on its button on the right side of the screen, then go to the Special Event tab. You'll see the Wrath Event button at the bottom of the list; click on it. Then, click the green Play button on the left side to start the event.
How Wrath Event Works in Anime Vanguards
You must clear 15 waves to complete a run in the Anime Vanguards Wrath event. Before starting the event, the stage lets you choose one of the seven cards or sins. They grant buffs that remain active for the entirety of the run. Here are the details:
| Sins | Buffs |

| Wrath | Whenever a unit hits an enemy it has already hit, it gains 50% damage for 30 seconds (can stack without any limit) |
| Pride | Only one unit can be placed on the field. It deals 5x damage, has 50% more range, and you can place it anywhere on the map |
| Greed | Any non-farm unit that you upgrade first can only be upgraded further. You can't upgrade others. However, every copy of the unit deals 4x more damage and can upgrade up to its max level. |
| Lust | Selling a fully upgraded unit refunds its placement cost. Additionally, you'll get a copy that you can't sell or copy again. |
| Envy | The strongest non-farm unit receives a 30% damage debuff. Other non-farm units match its damage. |
| Sloth | Every enemy receives a 30% movement speed debuff. |
| Gluttony | At every wave's end, farms pay out a second time. |

Wrath Event Rewards
Here are the rewards you can get upon clearing a run:
- Normal Mode: 3x Battle Pass XP, 100 Wrath Coins, and 150 Gems
- Hard Mode: 4x Battle Pass XP, 200 Wrath Coins, and 150 Gems

Tips for Anime Vanguards Wrath Event
Here are some of the tips you can use to clear the Anime Vanguards Wrath event:
- Naturally, I would want the sin that amplifies my damage. My first choice is Envy, then Pride and Wrath. Greed is best if you have a unit with the highest damage.
- Envy is one of the best sins to complete a run smoothly. Pick the unit with the highest damage and others that can heal, deal AoE damage, or have high attack speed. All units will have the same damage. Then, place other units strategically.
- Note that you can't place units in some areas. They will be highlighted in red. So, it's best to use units with AoE attacks and those with superior range.
