S Tier Classes

The Outlaw is the best class in Survive a Million Monkeys, and it is not particularly close. As the only Legendary tier class, it has the strongest ability kit in the roster, with Quickdraw giving you fast draw speed, Ricochet letting shots bounce between targets, and Fan The Hammer delivering rapid-fire burst output. The unlock requirement of owning every previous class is a significant investment, but the payoff is worth it if you are playing seriously.

A Tier Classes

The Bomber is a direct upgrade over the default Survivor class sitting in the same Assault tier but with a much stronger ability set. If you want to deal damage, this is the class to work toward before you can afford the Outlaw.

The Juggernaut is the best option for players who want to absorb damage and stay in the fight. Ground Slam and Warpath give it strong offensive presence while Brace keeps it alive in the thick of monkey waves. The 75,000 Diamond cost is steep for a Tank class, but it delivers on what it promises.

B Tier Classes

The Engineer brings solid defensive value, with Turret being particularly useful during heavy monkey waves when you need to cover multiple directions. The Medic is a situational pick that becomes significantly more valuable in team play than in solo runs.

C Tier Classes

The Survivor is your starting class tier in Survive a Million Monkeys, and it shows. Grenade, Barricade, and Airstrike are a functional kit that gets you through the early game, but all three abilities are outclassed by what the Bomber brings.

S Tier Weapons

The Laser Cannon has the highest DPS in the game at 700 and is the best weapon if you can afford the 250,000 Gem unlock cost. It is a long-term goal rather than an early unlock, but nothing else comes close to its output.

The Scar is the best value weapon in the game, sitting at 525 DPS for 90,000 Gems. Within its Tier 3 bracket, it more than doubles the output of the default Burst Rifle and costs the same as the Katana, which delivers far less DPS.

The Minigun is the default Tier 4 weapon, and at 605 DPS, it is the second-highest damage output in the game, behind only the Laser Cannon.

A Tier Weapons

The Longshot and AK-47 are the two best weapons in Tier 3 behind the Scar. Both sit comfortably above the Burst Rifle default and are worth picking up while saving for the Scar.

The P90 punches significantly above the other Tier 2 options at 325 DPS, which is nearly double the SMG’s 180.

B Tier Weapons

These are solid weapons in the Survive a Million Monkeys tier list for their respective stages of progression. The Dead Man’s Hand is the best Tier 1 weapon by a significant margin at 200 DPS, but it is locked behind the Gunslinger Bundle purchase. The SMG and Burst Rifle are reliable stepping stones before you can afford the higher-tier options.

C Tier Weapons

The Grenade Launcher and RPG are the most disappointing entries in the list. Both sit in Tier 4 yet deliver less DPS than the Scar, which is a Tier 3 weapon. The Grenade Launcher costs 450,000 Gems, which is almost double the Laser Cannon cost for lower output. The Katana costs as much as the Scar at 90,000 Gems but delivers less than half the DPS, making it one of the worst value unlocks in the game.

D Tier Weapons

These are your starting options and nothing more. The Pistol at 45 DPS is the weakest weapon in the game, and the rest of the D-tier starters are not much better. Move through these as fast as possible and invest in higher-tier weapons the moment you have the Gems to do so.
