You need to find and collect 23 halves of Yin and Yang to complete the Halloween Ritual and unlock the Sealed Cave in Ride a Pet. Both items spawn at random locations across the Halloween area. Once you collect both halves, take them to the cave and place them to unlock it. The cave rewards you with either a Candy Pot or a Headless Egg. What Are the Yin and Yang Halves in Ride a Pet
The Yin Half and Yang Half are collectible items found throughout Ride a Pet's Halloween Event area. You need one of each to unlock the Sealed Cave and complete the ritual. The Halloween area unlocks once you reach Rebirth 1, so make sure to do that beforehand.
Once you have Rebirth 1, you can enter the Halloween portal to access the event area. The Yin and Yang Halves spawn at different locations across the Halloween map, including the starting area, pumpkin patch, and graveyard.
All 23 Yin and Yang Spawn Locations and Timings in Ride a Pet
The Yin and Yang pieces spawn every 5 to 10 minutes and despawn after 5 minutes. Keep in mind that other players can collect these items before you reach them, so you must move quickly between locations. The restock banner is a useful signal to begin searching for the items. Start checking the three areas as soon as it appears
If you cannot find either item after checking all locations, wait for the next restock cycle instead of repeatedly searching the same spots. Below are all 23 Yin and Yang Spawn locations in Ride a Pet:
Starting Area - 8 Yin and Yang Spawn Locations

The graveyard has eight possible spawn locations. Search around the wooden structures, purple tombstones, and red trees to find the Yin-Yang pieces in Ride a Pet.

How to Unlock the Sealed Cave in Ride a Pet
Once you collect both Yin and Yang halves in Ride a Pet, you must bring them to the Sealed Cave to complete the ritual. Follow these steps:
- Find the Yin and Yang Halves: Search the 23 spawn locations across the starting area, pumpkin area, and graveyard. Continue searching until you collect both halves. The on-screen prompt will indicate which item you still need.
- Travel to the Sealed Cave: Return to the cave in the Halloween area.
- Place both halves: Interact with the cave entrance and place the items in the corresponding Yin and Yang slots by holding the 'E' and 'F' keys.
- Collect the reward: Once the ritual is complete, follow the prompt to pick up the Ritual Candy Pot or the Headless Horseman egg.
After collecting your reward, the cave will seal itself and remain locked for 15 minutes. During this time, the Yin and Yang halves will not spawn, so wait until the cooldown ends before searching again.
All Sealed Cave Rewards in Ride a Pet
Completing the ritual rewards you with Halloween Tokens, which you can use to obtain the Halloween egg. Here are the rewards you can expect:
- Halloween Tokens: The ritual grants you 50 Tokens after completion.
- Ritual Candy Pot: The Ritual Candy Pot gives you 50 Tokens once you return it to the Candy Drop off area.
- Headless Egg: Each cave opening has a 0.1% chance of rewarding the Headless Egg, which hatches into the Headless Horseman.
