Huss Valley tier list ranks all Abilities, Items, and Knives to help you choose the best options for escaping Runners or catching opponents. The game features two main roles: Runners and Chasers. Runners need to avoid getting caught, while Chasers use their abilities to stop them. Your choice of Abilities and Items can make a difference in how effectively you perform your role. Here's our Huss Valley tier list for all abilities, items, and knives in the game.
Huss Valley Abilities Tier List
You can use Abilities in Huss Valley after completing a round as either role. Abilities come in handy, especially when you're outnumbered. As a Runner, you need Abilities to reach the other side safely, while as a Chaser, you need them to catch as many Runners as possible.

Huss Valley Runner Abilities - Ranked
Runners need Abilities that help them escape Chasers, avoid attacks, and create distance. Here are the rankings for Runner Abilities:
| Tier | Ability |
|---|---|
| S | Cloak, One Hit Shield |
| A | Inflatable Decoy, Pocket Door |
| B | Emergency Airhorn |
S Tier Runner Abilities
S-tier Runner Abilities in our Huss Valley Tier List are the best of the best. You can use these Abilities to easily outrun the Chasers. The Cloak lets you keep distance between the Chasers if you time it right. In my opinion, the One Hit Shield is a free ticket to the other side.
| Ability | Description |
|---|---|
| Cloak | - Disappears for three seconds. - You can still be hit while invisible, and using an item ends the cloak. - Nearby players can see you a little. |
| One Hit Shield | - Raises a shield for 0.75 seconds. - It blocks the next hit before breaking. |
A-Tier Runner Abilities
A-tier Runner abilities in our Huss Valley Tier List are situational, and Chasers can work around them quickly. The Inflatable Decoy is easy to spot and does not confuse most Chasers. Meanwhile, the Pocket Door is extremely situational.
| Ability | Description |
|---|---|
| Inflatable Decoy | - Sends an inflatable copy running straight ahead for seven seconds. - It pops when caught. |
| Pocket Door | - Places a temporary door in front of you. - Chasers can smash through it or go around it. - Lasts six seconds. |
B-Tier Runner Abilities
The Emergency Airhorn is a great Ability to equip, but it is extremely situational due to its range. Replace this ability with a better one as soon as you can.
| Ability | Description |
|---|---|
| Emergency Airhorn | Blasts nearby Chasers backward in every direction. |

A-Tier Chaser Abilities are extremely situational. Beginners might struggle a little with them.

| Big Dagger | Doubles your melee reach for your next hit. Expires after five seconds. |
| Bowling Ball | Rolls a ball along the ground. A direct hit briefly trips a Runner. |

The Bear Trap Ability is a hit-and-miss. You must toss it in the right place and hope a Runner steps on it. It works better with multiple Runners.

|---|---|
| Bear Trap | Tosses a trap ten studs ahead. The first Runner to step in it is stuck in place for half a second. Lasts 12 seconds. |

Huss Valley Knives Tier List

Chasers can use Knives to knock down Runners and catch them, while Runners can equip them for their buffs. Knives benefit both Runners and Chasers, like increased movement speed, shorter ability cooldowns, and reduced dodge cooldowns. Our Huss Valley Tier List ranks all Knives based on the buffs they provide.
| Tier | Knives | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| S Tier | #1 Fan, Hotdog, Viper's Fang, Bloodthorn, Voidspine, Solar Phoenix, Void Sovereign, Glacial Crown, Celestial Dragon | - These knives provide you with +0.85 Movement Speed, -0.85s Item and Ability Cooldowns, and a -0.35s dodge cooldown. - These are the best Knives you can equip for your games. |
| A Tier | Football, Futbol, Selfie Stick, Molten Fang, Spectral Reaper, Storm Talon, Moonfang | - These knives provide you with +0.35 Movement Speed, -0.35s Item and Ability Cooldowns, and a -0.1s dodge cooldown. - They fall short of their S-tier counterparts, but are great to have rather than having no knives at all. |
| B Tier | Cluck Basher, Banana Blade, Pizza Punisher, Clone Dagger, Ghost Scythe | - These knives provide additional rewards, including Coins, Gems, XP, and catch-related effects. |
| C Tier | Developer's Pencil, Secret Pencil, The Spoon, Owner's Trident, Ashsteel, Iron Fang, Forest Edge, Ice Cream Scythe, Amber Sting, Rose Quartz, Tidal Shard, Venom Thorn, Copper Bite, Party Popper, The Number One, The Spoon, Valley Original | - These knives are purely cosmetic and do not provide any gameplay benefits. |

FAQs
Gems are used to unlock permanent Abilities in the shop and can be earned from match performance or picked up off the arena floor while playing as a Runner. Coins are earned exclusively from end-of-match performance and are spent on single-use Items.
Cloak allows Runners to turn completely invisible for three seconds. This creates just enough time and space to break the Chaser's line of sight and cross the finish line safely.
Both roles can equip and use Items during a round.
