The Animal Hospital Lore Expansion update in Roblox introduced Dr. Harlow's Office. It is a new area that you can enter after completing a certain number of shifts. In Dr. Harlow's Office, you'll find documents that reveal more about the hospital's lore. This article provides a complete guide to Animal Hospital Dr. Harlow's Office, including how to unlock it.
How to Enter Dr. Harlow's Office in Animal Hospital
You can enter Dr. Harlow's Office during Shift 16 or 17 in Animal Hospital. During the shift, you'll see Dr. Harlow in the hospital's lobby, standing near boxes on the floor. The boxes are labeled confidential, and he asks you to help him take them to his office. That's when you can go inside Dr. Harlow's Office in the Animal Hospital. Here's what you must do with the box:
- Press "E" to carry it.
- Follow Dr. Harlow to his office. The door is on the right, inside the Supplies Shop, which opens at Shift 3. You'll see a NO ACCESS sign above the door.
- Go through the door, follow the corridor, and turn left. You'll see a door with a RESTRICTED sign above it.
- Open the door to enter a large open area with four bridges leading to different rooms.
- Go through the door with an OFFICE sign above it.
- You'll reach the lobby area of Dr. Harlow's Office. Place the box on the desk with the green-highlighted area.
Dr. Harlow will go inside his office after you put the box. That's when you can see what's inside Dr. Harlow's Office in the Animal Hospital.
What Happens in Dr. Harlow’s Office in the Animal Hospital?
After Dr. Harlow sits in his chair, Ron comes to his office. They start a conversation about Ratthew. Ron complains to Dr. Harlow that Ratthew keeps breaking into his office. Also, he's worried Ratthew might steal something important.
Dr. Harlow responds that Ratthew indeed is a problem. But he tries to reassure Ron that he has a good heart. Their conversation ends when Dr. Harlow assures him he will take care of the situation. Then, Ron leaves the room and goes to his office.

What's Inside Dr. Harlow's Office
Dr. Harlow's Office contains typical office stuff, documents containing confidential information, and an Easter Egg. You can interact with the documents and read about the Animal Hospital's backstory, including an intern who worked there before you got hired. There's also Dr. Harlow's to-do list that gives you insight into his daily activities. Here is a complete breakdown of Animal Hospital Dr. Harlow's Office:
Dr. Harlow's Family Picture

You can find Dr. Harlow's family photo on the right side of his desk. Its edges are burnt, covering the faces of the doctor and his wife. However, you can see the daughter's face.
Dr. Harlow's To-Do List

You can find the to-do list on the table behind Dr. Harlow's chair. It's on the right side when you're facing the table. Here's what's written on it:
- Process Ron's shipment before it processes itself.
- Order more coffee. Order more coffee. (Wrote this twice? Keeping both.)
- Ask Ron to stop signing emails "Regards." We work twelve feet apart.
- Recount the patients in wing B. Get the same number twice, ideally.
- Feed the thing in the supply closet. DO NOT put this on the official schedule again.
- Stop referring to the medicine as "the batch" in front of visitors.
- Sleep (optional).
The seven things reveal a lot more about Dr. Harlow than we knew before. While others interested me, the most intriguing thing is the thing in the supply closet. A few things become clear as you read more documents in his office.
The Locked Book
You can find the locked book in the bookshelf on the right side of Dr. Harlow's desk. It's titled "On the Discovery and Nature of "Anomaly Gene." The author's name is John Arthur Nomaly. The book has the hospital's logo below the author's name. As of now, there's no information on how to open the book or whether it is even possible.
John Arthur Nomaly discovered the "Anomaly gene". In fact, it might be named after him. And the hospital might still be researching the "Anomaly Gene". Who knows! We're just hired to do the work.
The Congratulatory Letter

You can find the congratulatory letter beneath the same desk as the to-do list in Animal Hospital Dr. Harlow's Office. There's a book with paper sticking out from the pages. Interact with it to read. The sender's name is redacted from the letter, so we don't know who sent it. But the letter makes it clear that it's another doctor.
The letter congratulates Dr. Harlow on his progress with his assignment. It also mentions "the boss should have brought us closer than it already has." Additionally, you can read in the letter that the man is requesting Dr. Harlow to pay the "reception actors" on time. The sender is worried the intern would feel lonely and resign.
The letter suggests that Dr. Harlow is only a part of a much bigger organization. The boss and the sender appear to be his employers, who closely monitor his work. He must pay the "reception actors" on time so that the intern won't leave the Animal Hospital. This letter raises more questions. For instance, whose idea was to build the hospital and conduct research on "Anomaly Gene"? Who is the boss or the sender?
The Incident Report On the Shelf
When you look at the left side of Dr. Harlow's desk, you'll see a shelf with blue binders. There's a cardboard box on the top shelf. You'll find two pages on the left side of the box. They reveal an interview conducted with Ron.
Like the congratulatory letter, the interviewer's name is redacted. Ron testifies about an incident he witnessed involving Oingit, a former intern. He informs the interviewer that he heard someone scream from one of the rooms. We can assume it's where we treat the patients.
He followed the scream and saw a creature grabbing Oingit from under the bed. Oingit struggled to break free, to no avail. The thing pulled him under, leaving Ron alone with the memory of a horrifying incident. Both the creature and intern disappeared under the bed.
The interview continues on the second page. Ron says he reported the incident to Dr. Harlow immediately. He came ot Ron's room and told him not to worry about it and that the corporation would "handle it."
In the last answer, Ron mentions that no one has asked about the intern since then. He finds it strange and believes that everyone has forgotten him, as no one even mentions his name. The interview ends when the interviewer tells Ron they should forget about him and get a new intern.
Ron's Email

You can read Ron's email he sent to Dr. Harlow on the computer on the desk. Ron mentions a shipment of raw supplies is arriving tonight. He insists the doctor see to it personally. Additionally, he asks the doctor to process the supplies quickly because the current stock won't last the week.
Moreover, he mentions a previous incident when a staff member happened to see the unprocessed raw materials in the morning. The staff found it different in the morning than the night.

What Does Dr. Harlow's Office Tell Us About Animal Hospital
Dr. Harlow's Office in Animal Hospital reveals much information about the lore. The intern, or the player, was hired because a creature probably killed the previous one. So, the anomalies are not only irregularities in patients; they are much more dangerous. The strange part is that no one mentions Oingint, the previous intern.
And who are the reception actors? Is the congratulatory letter referring to Suppliers Shop NPC, Hazmat, and others who work at the hospital? Is that why no one mentions Oingit? Did Ron also just forget about Oingit? What happened after the incident, and how did the corporation handle it?
Dr. Harlow is assigned to research the 'Anomaly Gene.' He is a part of a bigger organization that closely monitors his work. What are the raw materials used to make the medicine in the hospital? Was it the same box we brought to Dr. Harlow's Office?

Well, we must wait for the next update to confirm things and know more about what's happening behind Animal Hospital. That concludes our Animal Hospital Dr. Harlow's Office guide.
