Chapter 7 Season 4 has completely changed how Fortnite is played, and if you haven't figured out the Gizmo system yet, you are actually leaving a lot of progress on the table. Here is the complete list of all 6 Gizmos in Fortnite Override and how to get them.
What Are Gizmos in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override?
Gizmos are utility items that sit inside your Pickaxe slot during a match. They don't eat up your regular inventory space, which is kind of the whole point. When you hold the Pickaxe button, a Gizmo Wheel opens up and shows every Gizmo you're carrying along with how many copies you have.
Almost all of this season's Gizmos are built around the core Override loop of finding and extracting Sprites. However, remember that these Gizmos expire at the end of the season. The Gizmo Wheel shows exactly how many days you have left, so keep an eye on that.

How to Get Every Gizmo in Fortnite Override
There are five main ways to get Gizmos in Chapter 7 Season 4. Most Gizmos can be obtained through more than one method, so even if you miss one route, you've got a backup.
1. Override Daily Quests
Daily Quests are your most consistent free source of Gizmos. Complete your quests each day, and you'll earn at least one Gizmo, with the specific reward rotating by day of the week. Quests reset every day at 6 AM PT. Here's the full weekly Gizmo reward schedule:
| Day | Daily Quest Gizmo Reward |
|---|---|
| Sunday | ![]() Extraction Accelerator |
| Monday | ![]() Portable Extractor x3 |
| Tuesday | ![]() Spicy Taco |
| Wednesday | ![]() Cheat Code Locator |
| Thursday | ![]() Llama Supply Drop |
| Friday | ![]() Extraction Accelerator |
| Saturday | ![]() Cheat Code Locator |
Here's when the daily reset happens in your time zone:
| Time Zone | Daily Reset Time |
|---|---|
| PT (Pacific) | 6:00 AM |
| ET (Eastern) | 9:00 AM |
| CET (Central European) | 3:00 PM |
| IST (India Standard) | 6:30 PM |
| JST (Japan Standard) | 10:00 PM |
| AEST (Australian Eastern) | 11:00 PM |
2. Lobby Hack Codes
Lobby Hack Codes are the fastest route to Gizmos if you don't want to grind quests or spend Sprite Dust. Enter a code in the admin panel before you drop in, and the Gizmo goes straight into your loadout. Four of the six Gizmos have at least one associated code:
| Lobby Hack Code | Gizmo Reward |
|---|---|
| FindItChat | Cheat Code Locator |
| SurviveTheNight | Cheat Code Locator |
| O2Override | - Portable Extractor - Llama Supply Drop |
| TakeYourHeart | Extraction Accelerator |
| PerfectOrder | Spicy Taco |
3. Extraction Site Service Stations
If you've built up a solid Sprite Dust reserve, you can spend it at Extraction Site Service Stations on the map to buy Gizmos directly. There's a daily purchase cap, so you can't dump your entire stockpile at once, but it's a good way to spend your Sprite Dust if you have been farming lately:
| Gizmo | Daily Cost |
|---|---|
| Cheat Code Locator | 1,500 Sprite Dust |
| Portable Extractor | 2,500 Sprite Dust |
4. Wrixel Ziggy Get Crafty Story Quests
Completing the Wrixel Ziggy Get Crafty Story Quests rewards you with Gizmos as well. These are a one-time source, but they're worth doing early in the season while the content is fresh. Finishing these story quests hands out:
- Cheat Code Locators
- Portable Extractors
- Llama Supply Drops
You get the Gizmos and advance the seasonal story at the same time, so it's an easy win.
5. Power Hours
During Power Hours, the special limited windows that Epic activates at various points during the season, you automatically get bonus Portable Extractors added to your inventory.
Which Gizmos Should You Actually Prioritize?
If you're trying to figure out which one to get first, here's my recommendation:
The Portable Extractor and Extraction Site Booster are the two to stack. The Extractor gives you freedom of movement and the Booster doubles your Sprite Dust output. Together they make the core grind significantly faster and less risky.
The Cheat Code Locator is especially useful on Wednesdays and Saturdays, when it can appear as a Daily Quest reward. This is particularly helpful if you're hunting for Legendary Cheat Codes. It's also worth using on Thursdays during the New Sprite event, making these three days the best times to put the Locator to use.

The Extraction Accelerator is underrated for solo players. Most people ignore it, but extracting quietly without broadcasting your location to nearby enemies is a real advantage.
The Spicy Taco and Llama Supply Drop are the most situational of the six. The Taco's Pepper Effect can pull you out of a bad chase, and the God Mode Llama from the Supply Drop occasionally swings a match. Neither is a must-have priority.
FAQs
No. Gizmos expire at the end of every Battle Royale season, so use them before the season ends or they vanish from your inventory.
Yes, you can stack copies. Monday's Daily Quests give up to three Portable Extractors in a single day, so stacking multiples is very much part of the strategy.
No. Gizmos only work in core playlists and other non-competitive game modes. They're disabled for Competitive Battle Royale.
