It looks like GTA 6 beer brands are actually going to become something you can crack open in real life. Three fictional beers from the Grand Theft Auto universe, including fan-favorite brands that longtime players will recognize, have had their labels officially approved by a US government agency. And the brewery behind them is based right in Florida, which tells you everything about where this is headed. Here's what we know so far about all the GTA 6 beer brands that are becoming real.

What GTA 6 Beer Brands Are We Talking About?

The three beers are Pißwasser, Patriot, and a brand-new one called No Mames Vice City. If you’ve played GTA since the older entries, Pißwasser and Patriot are nothing new, because they’ve been part of the franchise for years. Pißwasser is the game’s version of a cheap, mass-market lager, while Patriot has always had that classic American beer energy. You can even spot Jason cracking open a Patriot in GTA 6’s second trailer, so it’s clearly getting some love in the new game too.

No Mames Vice City is the brand-new addition, and the label sounds incredible. It’s a lager featuring a dog in sunglasses wearing a gold Vice City chain, set against a pink and purple sunset backdrop with GTA 6 branding front and center. Very on-brand for what the game's Miami aesthetic is going for.

Who Is Making These GTA 6 Beer Brands in Real Life?

All three labels were filed by Tripping Animals Brewing, a brewery based in Doral, Florida, sitting just outside Miami. As we all know, Rockstar has been on a mission to turn Miami into Vice City ahead of the game's launch on November 19, spending millions on ads, flying an actual Vice City blimp over the city, and even transforming the Miami Heat’s arena for an upcoming NBA game.

The labels were each approved by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), with Pißwasser cleared on September 29th, No Mames Vice City on October 9th, and Patriot on October 15th.

Will You Actually Be Able to Buy the GTA 6 Beers?

Neither Rockstar nor Tripping Animals Brewing has officially confirmed anything publicly yet. But a TTB approval is an actual formal step towards commercial sale. So real paperwork was filed and cleared. These will most likely start as exclusive drops at Miami bars or launch event activations around GTA 6’s release weekend. Rockstar is already doing so much in that city that a beer collaboration makes total sense as a limited, in-person experience first. Whether they eventually go online or hit stores nationwide is still completely up in the air.

In terms of what you’d actually be drinking, these are actually easy-drinking, session-style lagers. Here are the list of alcohol by volume for the beers:

  • No Mames Vice City comes in at 6% ABV.
  • Pißwasser and Patriot are both 4.2% ABV, which is the same as Bud Light.

GTA 6 launches November 19th, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Keep your eyes peeled, because your launch night celebration might just come with an official Pißwasser in hand - which will be super cool!
