Note: Before we begin, you should note that changing your passcode for My Eyes Only is not the same as resetting your forgotten passcode. Changing the passcode only works if you already know your older passcode for My Eyes Only.
Changing Passcode for My Eyes Only
1. To change the Passcode for My Eyes Only on Snapchat, open Snapchat on your iPhone or Android. Then navigate to the Memories section by tapping on the Camera Roll icon towards the left. Alternatively, you can also swipe up on the camera viewfinder to access your Memories.
2. Now tap on My Eyes Only on the top right of the Memories section.
3. Look for Options towards the right of the screen and tap on it.
4. Tap on Change Passcode to begin changing your passcode. Then enter your current Passcode for My Eyes Only.
5. Now enter the new 4-digit passcode you want to set for My Eyes Only on Snapchat.
6. You can also use a 16-digit passphrase instead of a 4-digit passcode by tapping on the Use Passphrase option at the bottom of the tab.
7. We’re using a 4-digit passcode for easier access. Now re-enter the new 4-digit passcode to confirm it.
Note: Keep in mind that if you ever forget this passcode or passphrase, then you will not be able to access your saved snaps in My Eyes Only. Even if you try to reset your passcode or passphrase, you won’t be able to restore any of the previous snaps in My Eyes Only.
8. You’ll see the preview of the passcode you entered. Tap on I understand… and then tap on Continue.
9. The process to change the passcode for My Eyes Only on Snapchat is now complete. Tap Finish to continue using the app.
