Pets and Eggs can both receive Mutations in Ride a Pet. It increases your Pets' speed, earnings, and selling price. I recommend getting Mutations as soon as possible if you're a beginner to progress quickly. Unfortunately, getting one depends entirely on luck. But you must not miss any weather event if you want to up your chances. Here is a list of all the Ride a Pet Mutations, their multipliers, and how to get them.

How to Get Mutations in Ride a Pet

The only source of Mutations in Ride a Pet is weather events. Each weather event lasts for 5 minutes once triggered. The game currently features 5 weather events with an equal chance of triggering. Every Egg on the map will be mutated once a weather event triggers. Additionally, your Pets in the Pen or in a ride have a chance to receive the mutation.

However, we don't know the exact percentage for Pets to receive a Mutation. If you want a Mutation on a particular Pet in your inventory, place it in the Pen during a weather event. For now, there's no way to increase the mutation chances. However, you can hatch a mutated Egg to receive a mutated Pet with a 100% chance. For instance, you can get a Shocked Pet by hatching a Shocked Egg.
