Mutations are special variants that can increase your pets' earnings in Roblox's Steal an Egg. You can get some Mutations by hatching Eggs or participating in Admin Abuse events, while you must obtain the Sakura Mutations from the Sakura Incubator. In this article, we list all Mutations in Steal an Egg and explain how you can get them.
All Mutations in Steal an Egg

As mentioned previously, Mutations apply special visual changes and a base multiplier to your pet's earnings. The Mutation multiplier applies to the pet's base Money per second. This means that the size and weight of your pet still matter, as larger pets can have a higher base Money per second before the Mutation multiplier gets applied.
Here are all Mutations your pets can get in Steal an Egg:
| Mutation | Multiplier | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Silver | 1.25x | - Hatch an Egg - Fuse Machine - Admin Abuse |
| Bloom | 1.5x | - Sakura Incubator (97.5% chance) |
| Golden | 2x | - Hatch an Egg - Fuse Machine - Admin Abuse |
| Rainbow | 2.5x | - Hatch an Egg - Fuse Machine - Admin Abuse |
| Spirit Bloom | 3x | - Sakura Incubator (2.5% chance) |
How to Get Mutations in Steal an Egg
There are several ways to get pets with Mutations in Steal an Egg. However, the Sakura Incubator is the only guaranteed way to obtain them.
Hatch Eggs

The standard way to get Silver, Golden, and Rainbow Mutations in Steal an Egg is by hatching Eggs. There is a chance your pet hatches with one of these Mutations. You can sometimes also obtain a Pet with two mutations. For example, you can obtain a Beluga Whale with a Golden+Silver Mutation.
Some Eggs can also have a distinct appearance, such as a golden or rainbow color, which can indicate that the resulting pet will have a Mutation. However, this is not always guaranteed.
Use the Fuse Machine
The Fuse Machine gives you another way to obtain the standard Mutations. You can use the Fuse Machine with three of the same pet. Pets with better stats than their base Index values have a higher chance of producing the standard Mutations.
The Fuse Machine can be useful if you have duplicate pets that you don't need, especially if you're trying to get a stronger Mutated version. Again, there is no guarantee that you will obtain a Pet with any Mutations.
Participate in Admin Abuse

During every update, the Admins run events that can guarantee Mutations. These may be Admin-exclusive Mutations or standard ones. Keep in mind that Pets you hatch during Admin Abuse events can have high base earnings. Admins also spawn Eggs with specific Mutations during these events.

Use The Sakura Incubator

The Sakura Incubator is the only way to obtain Bloom and Spirit Bloom Mutations in Steal an Egg. You can find the Sakura Incubator in the Cherry Blossom Biome. You must unlock it by submitting a Crane first. Next, you must place an Egg inside and use Sakura Crystals to start the Incubator.
Bloom has a 97.5% chance, while Spirit Bloom has a 2.5% chance. You can also place an Egg that already has a regular Mutation into the Sakura Incubator. The resulting pet can keep its existing Mutation while gaining a Sakura Mutation.
