The final puzzle window kicks off today, Sunday, September 27th, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT. Here's when that lands for your time zone:

If you're gunning for a Top 20 spot, being ready the moment it opens is going to matter a lot. Here are the things you need to do to prepare for the Final Puzzle in The Hunt Roblox 20:

1. You Need All 40 Badges Before Anything Else

This is the single most important thing to sort out before the finale. The Hunt Roblox 20 final puzzle requires all 40 badges - that's 20 normal badges and 20 secret badges.

The 20 normal badges come from the regular Hunt 20 quests. Most players who've been following the event have these already. The 20 secret badges are a completely different thing. They come from hidden quests buried inside the Hunt 20 games, and you need to claim the rewards from the podiums available in each year inside the 2026 Lobby Hub.

If you haven't specifically gone looking for the secret quests inside each game, there's a good chance you're missing some. Go through your badge count now and fill in any gaps before the finale window.

2. Secret Challenge Leaderboard May Grant Early Access

The Hunt 20 hub has a Secret Challenge leaderboard, and this is where things get competitive. Players who rank in the Top 20 on this leaderboard will unlock the final puzzle before everyone else.

It's worth knowing that this requirement changed recently. Early in the event, the Admin Abuse event was described as the method for early access. That has since been removed from the hub. The secret challenge leaderboard is now the confirmed path, so that's the one to focus on if early access matters to you.

3. Play Admin Abuse for a Puzzle Bonus

Even though Admin Abuse is no longer the early access method, the Hunt Roblox 20 hub still specifically mentions it. Playing the Admin Abuse event in +1 Keyboard Escape will give you a small bonus for the final puzzle.

The exact nature of that bonus hasn't been confirmed yet. But since the admin abuse is from +1 Speed Keyboard Escape, we feel like the final puzzle might be connected to the game, where you have to run and jump, plus reach each level with a different obby. Or it could be something else entirely. Either way, the hub is calling it out for a reason. It's worth doing before the finale starts, especially since it doesn't seem like a big time commitment.

4. Explore the Final Hub Section Before It Starts

The final area of the Hunt 20 hub has so much new stuff in it. Now there are more games added inside the hub, and their designs are all floating in the galaxy. There are 100 Days at Sea, Reclone, Anime Expeditions, Clean All the Leaves, Steal an Egg, and more. Most of these won't do anything until the finale triggers, but knowing where they are beforehand is a big advantage.

A few minutes of early exploration is worth it. When the final puzzle opens, and dozens of players are all running around trying to figure out what to click, you'll already have a rough idea of the layout.
