Toy Story 5: The Great Toy Rescue is a limited-time Fortnite event that started on September 22nd, 2026. It runs through October 5th, 2026, timed right a few days after the Disney+ release of Toy Story 5 on September 23rd.

This is the first time Disney and Pixar have connected a branded adventure across multiple creator-made islands within Fortnite at the same time. So it's a full, multi-island experience with a storyline, unlockable abilities, and collectibles.

The event starts on a brand new island based on Bonnie's Room from Toy Story 5. A Fortnite rift suddenly opens and scatters six of the most beloved toys across the Fortnite ecosystem, sending each one into a different creator-made island. Your job is to track them all down and bring them back home.

The Bonnie's Room hub itself has hidden imaginary spaces tucked within the room: a castle, an ancient temple, and a spaceship. Each of these is unlocked as you complete missions and gain new abilities.
