Version 3.0 is bringing an entirely new city to explore, fresh new agents, and more surprises on the way. Here is everything you need to know before the update goes live.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 Special Program Release Date and Time

There is something important to know: Version 2.9 is officially skipped, and Version 3.0 drops on June 17th, right after 2.8 ends.

Now to check out what is the content inside Season 3, the Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 “A Sleepwalker’s Confession” Special Program will air on June 6th, 2026, at 4:30 AM PT. If you are outside this timezone, here is when to tune in based on where you are:

North American players will need to set an early alarm, as the stream kicks off in the morning for those on PT and ET. Make sure you tune in on time as well, since HoYoverse typically drops an exclusive redemption code during the live broadcast that you can only catch while it is airing.

What to Expect in Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.0 Update

New City: Roscaelifer

The biggest reveal of the special program will be a full look at Roscaelifer, the brand-new city coming in Season 3. Described as a Celestial Nexus, Version 3.0 will give players their first proper glimpse at its unique culture and what makes it different from New Eridan. The program is promising a deep dive into everything Roscaelifer has to offer, including the fresh gameplay systems tied to it.

New Agents

Three new agents are confirmed for Version 3.0, and they are also introducing Wind as a brand-new attribute to the game. Version 3.0 kicks off the Krampus Compliance Authority faction with Promeia (Ice Anomaly) and Starlight Billy (Physical Rupture, HP-scaling) carrying over from 2.8, while the Season 3 roster steps in across the two phases.

If you are still saving up during 2.8, keep in mind there is no Version 2.9 buffer. The gap between 2.8 ending on June 10 and 3.0 launching on June 17 is only one week. Budget your Polychrome accordingly if you are targeting any of the Season 3 agents.

Surprise Gifts from the Chief Welfare Officer

HoYoverse has teased that the Chief Welfare Officer will be making an appearance during the program to unveil surprise gifts for players. No specifics have been confirmed yet, but these typically include Polychrome, W-Engine pulls, or other valuable in-game items.
