As a migration-based catch, it won't appear all the time, so you'll need the right weather conditions and a bit of patience before you can reel it in. Where to Get Fin Whale in Fisch
The Fin Whale appears as part of a migration event in the Ocean during the Rainy weather. If it isn't raining on your server, you can use a Tempest Totem to trigger rainy weather and keep trying until the migration begins.
Once the migration starts, sail around the waters near Moosewood. Before long, you'll notice a blue highlighted square in the water, which marks the Fin Whale migration. Drive your boat into the highlighted area and start fishing using Krill as your bait. While the fish prefers Foggy weather, Day time, and the Winter season, the most important part is finding the migration event first.
Since the Fin Whale is a massive catch, make sure you're using a rod with a high Max Kg Capacity such as King's Rod. Pairing it with luck-boosting bait or buffs can also improve your chances, but having a strong rod is the most important requirement.
