You can schedule your posts on LinkedIn to build a buffer of content on both mobile and web apps. Let’s begin with how you can schedule on your favorite browser first.

Web

If you are using LinkedIn on the web, scheduling a post is effortless. Let’s take a look at the steps to do so.

1. Open LinkedIn on the choice of your browser.

2. Click on the Start a post (New Post).

3. Type and create the post according to your preference and then click on the clock icon just beside the Post button.

Tip: While scheduling a post on LinkedIn, you can also tag businesses or people in the post.

4. Now click on the Date selector.

6. Now click on time and pick a preferred time for the post to go live on LinkedIn.

8. Now click on Schedule, and the post will be scheduled to go live on the date and time selected in the previous steps on your LinkedIn profile.

Just like the web, scheduling a post on LinkedIn on smartphones is also simple. Let’s learn how to do so.

Note: Earlier, scheduling a post on LinkedIn wasn’t available on iPhones. But now it’s available, so make sure you have updated the LinkedIn app from the App Store to access that. And the steps to schedule a post on LinkedIn from an iPhone are the same as the Android.

1. Open the LinkedIn app on your smartphone.

2. Tap on + Post to begin.

3. Type and create a post and then tap on the clock icon next to the Post button.

4. Tap on the date selector.

5. Tap on a desired date to select it and then tap on OK.

6. Now tap on the time selector.

7. Choose a preferred time for the post and then tap on OK.

8. Review the post and then tap on Schedule. Now the post has been scheduled on LinkedIn.

View Scheduled Posts

To simplify things, LinkedIn saves all scheduled posts in one place. Let’s take a look at how to find and view all the scheduled posts.

1. Open LinkedIn on the choice of your browser.

1. Open the LinkedIn app on your smartphone.

2. Tap on + Post to begin near the bottom side of the screen.

Reschedule Posts

Now that you know how to schedule posts on LinkedIn, and how to find them, let’s find out how you can reschedule posts to go live on a different date and time.

Web

Let’s take a look at how to reschedule a post on LinkedIn on the web first.

1. Navigate to the Scheduled posts by following the steps above or go to LinkedIn > Start a post > clock icon > View all scheduled posts.

2. Click on the clock icon next to the post that you want to reschedule.

4. Select a date for rescheduling the post.

Tip: Once done with the date, do the same with the time (if needed).

5. Once done with the date and time for the post, click on Save. Now the post will be rescheduled for the date and time you selected.

Mobile

Let’s take a look at how to reschedule an already scheduled post on LinkedIn mobile apps.

1. Navigate to the Scheduled posts by following the steps above or go to + Post > clock icon > View all.

2. Tap on the clock icon next to the post which you want to reschedule.

3. Tap on the date selector.

Quick Tip: Once done with the date selection. You can do the same with the time on the same page if you also want to change the time for the scheduled post.

5. Once done with the date and time, tap on Save. And the post will be rescheduled for the selected date and time.

Note: LinkedIn doesn’t allow you to edit a scheduled post up until now. Hence, a scheduled post can’t be edited once it’s scheduled. But you can delete and schedule a new post again by following the above-mentioned steps.

Delete Scheduled Posts

You can not only reschedule a post but also delete it if you no longer wish to publish it on LinkedIn.

Web

If you want to delete one of your scheduled posts on LinkedIn in a browser, here are the steps to do so.

Note: Once you delete a scheduled post, it can’t be undone or recovered.

1. Navigate to the Scheduled posts by following the steps above or go to LinkedIn > Start a post > clock icon > View all scheduled posts.

2. Click on the bin/delete icon next to the post you want to delete.

3. A pop-up menu will appear. Click on Delete to delete the scheduled post.

Mobile

You can also delete a scheduled post on LinkedIn on mobile devices. Let’s take a look at the steps to do so.

1. Navigate to the Scheduled posts by following the steps mentioned above or go to + Post > clock icon > View all.

2. Tap on the bin/delete icon next to the scheduled post you want to delete.

3. Tap on Delete. And now the scheduled post will be deleted.

1. Does the scheduled post require active internet to go live on the LinkedIn feed?

No. Once you schedule a post, it is uploaded to the LinkedIn server. Once the scheduled date and times arrive, the post will automatically go live from your account.

2. Will my scheduled post on LinkedIn sync across all devices?

Yes. You can view all of your scheduled posts from both mobile and the web. For now, iOS doesn’t allow scheduling posts on LinkedIn, so you can’t view scheduled posts on an iPhone, but it is supposed to arrive soon on iOS.

3. How many posts can I schedule on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn hasn’t announced a specified limit for the number of posts that can be scheduled. But in our testing, we tried scheduling 10+ posts and it was a success.
