Muzan does not hand out demon powers to just anyone in Slayers 2. The game asks you to do a few things first, and some of them only work at a certain time of day. 1. Begin Quest to Become a Demon in Slayers 2

You need two movement skills before you go anywhere:

  • Wall Climb
  • Double Jump.

Dr. Higoshima stands on a high ledge with no ramp, so you can't finish the quest without them. Level 4 is the point where you can unlock both, so that is the earliest you can realistically do this.

How to Drop Your Reputation to -40

Muzan ignores anyone with neutral or good reputation. You need -40 reputation before he will offer you the demon quest. Every time you lose another 10 points, a message from Muzan pops up on the left of your screen, so you will know you are on the right track.

2. Find Muzan in Slayers 2

Muzan only spawns at night, and he is not in every server. If you can't find him after a quick look, hop servers instead of searching the whole map twice:

3. Become a Demon in Slayers 2

Talk to Muzan and accept his offer. He gives you the Biwa Bell. Use it from your inventory to enter his domain, then talk to him again to start Muzan Quests. This is the first step to becoming a Demon in Slayers 2.

You will get three tasks:

  • Collect 9 Spider Lilies
  • Deliver to Dr. Higoshima
  • Drink Muzan's Blood

Also set your spawn point at the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary crystal before you start. Dying and respawning on the other side of the map is more annoying than the fights themselves.

Step 1 - Find Spider Lilies in Slayers 2

Spider Lilies only spawn at night. During the day, the spawn spots are empty, which makes the quest feel broken if you start at the wrong time. Look for the pickup prompt on the ground and watch your quest counter.

Since the appearance of Spider Lilies is random, here are the hotspots for the spawns:

  • Bamboo Grove Sanctuary - Check the bridge, small shrine, waterfall, and gate to Hidden Mist Village for Spider Lily spawns, especially around nearby trees and flowers.
  • Hidden Mist Village - Search the flower-covered cliff on the outer edge of Hidden Mist Village, where up to two Spider Lilies can spawn. Also, check behind Thunder King Zentaro for another spawn.

One public server rarely has all nine, because other players pick them up too. Check every spot, then hop servers, then go back to those hotspots to find them spawning again.

Step 2 - Deliver Dr. Higoshima

Dr. Higoshima is on top of a pillar east of Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, near the Stone Bridge area. He also only shows up at night. Now, if you want to go to him, you have to follow these steps:

  1. Turn on shift lock.
  2. Use Wall Climb to keep on climbing the high rock wall.
  3. Use Double Jump to cross the gaps between ledges. Be careful not to fall.
  4. Pick him up when you reach the top.
  5. Run to the white marker and do not stop.

The moment you grab him, many slayers will spawn and chase you. Don't fight them, just keep on dashing and jumping to the white arrow marker.

Step 3 - Drink Muzan's Blood

Once you deliver flowers and the doctor, you get Muzan's Blood. Open your inventory and drink it. You will see a red and green smoke animation, and the Demon title shows on your profile. Don't throw away the Biwa Bell afterward. It is your only way back into Muzan's domain.

What to Do After Becoming a Demon

Sunlight now burns you, so sun protection comes first. The cheapest early fix is the Black Amigasa, which costs 10,000 Yen. It has no stat bonuses, so I see it as a stopgap. But it works, and it keeps you alive while you look for better gear.

  1. Talk to MoldySugar (pink hair icon) in the beginner village and take his package.
  2. Deliver it to Elara the Tailor at Mistfall Harbor.
  3. Buy the Black Amigasa from the shop.

If you picked the Kamado clan, you already have sun immunity and can skip this.
