The answer hides in plain sight inside the store itself, across from two notes and a soda dispenser near the window. Here is how to find the Urban Fresh Mart Cash Register Code in Control: Resonant.
Where to Find the Urban Fresh Mart
Urban Fresh Mart sits in the West Incursion Zone, north of the Museum of Curiosities and south of the House of Mirrors. It's one of Control: Resonant's secret hideouts. Solving this one and every other hideout unlocks the Backroom Espionage trophy and achievement.
The enemies are guarding the front of the shop, and you need to deal with them before you can get to the puzzle. Focus on taking down the Brutes. Once the area is clear, get to solving the puzzle.

The moment you step inside, two notes and a soda dispenser near the window are everything you need.
- Note 1: "Soda Dispenser Debate" sits in the back corner of the store. It tells you that the dispenser has flashing lights and that those lights are the clue.
- Note 2 sits on the counter. It states the distributor has been reversing the drink order. This is the more important of the two; read it before you touch the dispenser.
Walk over to the soda dispenser by the window and interact with it. It runs through four separate flashes, each one lighting up a different number of drink options:

Reading those numbers in order gives you 3121. Entering 3121 into the register does nothing. The counter note is the reason; the reversal clue means you take that sequence and flip it. Reversed, 3121 becomes 1213. The correct code is 1213.
Walk to the cash register and enter it. A wall at the back of the store slides open, revealing a staircase down into the hideout.
Cash Register Puzzle Rewards
Inside the hideout, you'll find a Health Upgrade Point, which raises your maximum health, and four collectible documents for the archive:
- Avoid the French Delegation
- Hunka Love
- Audit Outcome
- Steaming Open Envelopes
The Health Upgrade is the mechanical win here. The files are lore collectibles with no combat effect, but they count toward full completion of the game if you are looking to beat Control Resonant completely.
