Often you’d take Samsung Galaxy phone out of your pocket or bag to make a call or check an important email only to find it not turning on. The first thing you’d wonder that it had enough charge last time you checked. But it is a common issue that can stem from a variety of factors, ranging from software glitches to hardware malfunctions. Before you take your Galaxy phone for repairs to a service center, try out the following methods.

1. Charge Your Galaxy Phone
Your Samsung Galaxy phone won’t turn on if the battery is too low or completely discharged. Hence, the first you need to connect your phone to a charger and leave it for at least 10 minutes.
You will see a charging indicator while your phone is plugged in. If you don’t, there may be an issue with the charging process.
Use a compatible charger and cable to prevent damage and charge your phone quickly. You can test whether the charger and cable work correctly with another phone. Also, ensure your phone’s charging port is clean and free of dust or debris.
2. Boot Your Phone Into Recovery Mode
If your Samsung Galaxy phone is not turning on even after you charge it, you can try booting it in Recovery Mode. This will allow you to bypass the regular boot process and avoid potential issues.
1. Press and hold the Volume Up button and Side button (Power button) on your Samsung Galaxy phone. Keep holding the button until you see the Android Recovery menu.
Note: In Recovery Mode, your phone’s touch screen will stop responding. So, you’ll need to use the volume keys to scroll through the menu and the power button to select an option.
2. Use the Volume Down button to highlight the Reboot system now option. Then, press the Side button to select it.

Keep holding both buttons even when the Samsung logo appears. Continue holding them until the logo disappears twice and then reappears for the third time. 4. Try Booting Your Phone Into Safe Mode
Boot your Samsung Galaxy phone into Safe Mode to diagnose and fix any issues with it. If the problem only started after a recent app installation, Safe Mode will allow you to get rid of the problematic app.
Press and hold the Side button and wait for the Samsung logo to appear. When the Samsung logo appears, immediately release the Side button then hold down the Volume Down button.
