Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is here, and Epic Games has given the Battle Royale island a major makeover. The new season, called Override, brings several gaming-themed locations to the Fortnite map, including areas inspired by Sonic and Pac-Man. There is also a new central landmark that looks set to play an important role in the season's story.
You do not need to relearn the entire island, though. Most locations from Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 are still in place, while three major POIs have been replaced. Here is a full look at all the new POIs, returning locations, removed areas, and landmarks in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4.
All New POIs in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
Chapter 7 Season 4 adds three main POIs to the island: Reality’s Reign, Sonic Green Hill Zone, and Stone Sanctum POI. 1. Reality’s Reign POI
Reality’s Reign HQ replaces Frosted Flats on the northern part of the island. The new location has a completely different identity from the POI it replaces. The area is built around a giant gaming PC theme, with computer hardware worked into the environment. Large GPU-like structures and cooling pipes make the location easy to recognize once you are nearby.
For players who liked landing at Frosted Flats, this is one of the bigger changes to learn. The buildings and routes are different, so old rotations from Season 3 will not necessarily work here.
2. Green Hill Zone
The Sonic Green Hill Zone replaces Calamari Canyon and brings one of the season's most recognizable gaming crossovers directly onto the Battle Royale island.
The POI is based on the classic Green Hill Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog. Its most noticeable feature is the large vertical loop in the middle of the area, which you can run through while moving around the POI. You can also collect Rings around the area. Each Ring gives you 5 Shield, making them more than just a visual reference to Sonic.
That makes Green Hill Zone particularly interesting during the early game. If you can safely collect several Rings after landing, you can build up some extra protection before moving into your next fight.
The loop can also be useful for movement. Its unusual shape gives you another way to reposition, although you should be careful about using it when opponents are nearby because your movement can become predictable.
3. Stone Sanctum
Stone Sanctum replaces Sinister Strip and takes the island in a completely different direction from Reality’s Reign. The location has an ancient temple theme, making it stand out among the more technology-focused additions in Chapter 7 Season 4. The POI also contains a Temple Vault, which can provide valuable weapons from the season's loot pool.
That makes Stone Sanctum more than just a visual change. If you are looking for strong loot early in a match, this is a location worth learning.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4's Central Landmark - Spire
One of the biggest changes to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map is not technically a POI. The Spire now occupies the central area of the island and replaces the previous Zero Point landmark. The structure is connected to the island by large wires, with electricity visibly moving through it.
The electrical energy also appears to be affecting the sky above the island, which makes the Spire feel closely connected to the season's storyline. Its central position also makes it an obvious location for early fights. If you decide to land there, you should be ready for other players looking to explore the season's main landmark.
The Spire is also likely to become more important as Chapter 7 Season 4 progresses, particularly if Epic continues changing the island during the season.
Pac-Man Island Landmarks

Returning POIs in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
While Chapter 7 Season 4 introduces several new locations, most of the previous map remains intact.
