Forza Horizon 6 changes the way you climb the ranks at the festival. Instead of handing you the keys to a hypercar right away, the game makes you earn every step through the Wristband Events system. You start as a Tourist (beginner's guide) with nothing but a qualifier invite, and you have to grind your way up to Horizon Legend status. In this guide, I will break down and explain all the Wristband Events in Forza Horizon 6, what you need to unlock them, and the rewards waiting for you at every stage.

How the Wristband Events System Works in Forza Horizon 6

The Wristband System is the main progression gate in Forza Horizon 6. There are 7 wristband tiers, and each unlocks new race series, higher car classes, and fresh areas of the Japan map. You earn points by completing Horizon Festival events, PR Stunts, races, and overworld collectibles. Once you hit the required points for a tier, you complete a Wristband Event to officially move up.

The wristbands go in this order: Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple, and Gold. Reaching Gold gives you the Horizon Legend title and unlocks Legend Island, the endgame area packed with exclusive races and The Colossus, the longest Goliath route in Horizon history.

All Wristband Events in Forza Horizon 6

Each tier has its own Wristband Event, and they are not just regular races. Most of them are wild Showcase Events or Horizon Rush time attacks with a unique gimmick. Here is what to expect from each one.

Other Events

Yellow Wristband (Horizon Invitational)

This is your entry point into the festival. The Qualifiers are a series of intro races that prove you belong on the grid. Once you finish them, you also complete the Horizon Invitational, which together earn you 1,250 points and unlock the Yellow Rookie Wristband. At this tier, you race in D-class and C-class cars, which are slow but fun on Japan's tight touge roads.

The Yellow event is the most generous reward-wise. You walk away with three free cars:

  • Toyota GR86
  • Lancer Evo VI
  • RAM 1500 TRX

Green Wristband (Pier Pressure)

Pier Pressure is your first Horizon Rush event, a time attack obstacle course set in the Tokyo City Docks. You drive a Ford RS200 Evolution through tight paths made of shipping containers. The course is narrow and technical, so mistakes can easily cost you time.

To get the full 3-star reward, you need to beat a time of four minutes flat, which is harder than it sounds. Your car is small and twitchy, the gaps between containers are narrow, and one bad corner can ruin your run. The reward for this wristband tier is the Ford RS200 Evolution you raced with.

Blue Wristband (Mech My Day)

This is the event everyone is talking about. Mech My Day puts you in a 2022 Acura NSX Type S and pits you against Chaser Zero, a giant Gundam-like robot stomping through the countryside. It is the most over-the-top Showcase Event in the franchise so far. Forza Horizon has done bullet trains and cargo plane drops before, but never a full-on mech battle.

Forza Horizon 6 Wristband Events

The race itself is more about staying on the racing line than fighting the mech directly. Chaser Zero throws obstacles and environmental hazards your way, but the NSX has the speed and handling to keep up if you drive cleanly. The reward is the Acura NSX Type S.

Pink Wristband (Off Piste)

To get the Pink Wristband, you need to complete the Off Piste race. It is a snowy downhill event where your car will slide around almost every corner. The snow makes grip harder to control, which is why AWD cars work really well here.

Instead of fighting the slides, try to work with them. Brake early, let the car turn naturally, and stay in control as you drive downhill. Completing the event rewards you with the Peugeot 207 Super 2000, a rally car that fits the snowy roads perfectly.

Orange Wristband (Flight Club)

Flight Club is a story-driven Showcase Event where you race a high-performance rally car against a stunt plane. The course is built around massive jumps and high-speed checkpoint navigation across the open world. The plane uses the air, you use the ground, and the race weaves between tunnels, ridges, and bridges.

The hardest part is keeping your speed through the jump sequences. Try not to land badly and focus on the ground, plus do not look up often at the plane. When you complete this event, you will get the Orange Wristband. The reward is the Porsche 911 Rallye, a perfect car for the kind of mixed-surface chaos this event throws at you.

Interesting POIs

Purple Wristband (Launch Control)

Launch Control is the toughest Showcase Event before the finale. This is where S2-class Hypercars finally come into play in the campaign, and the race tests everything you have learned so far.

You really have to get a perfect start and manage your power in a Hypercar for this race. The reward for this is the Subaru WRX STI ARX Supercar.

Gold Wristband (Horizon Legend)

The final event. Once you hit 32,500 Horizon Festival points, the Horizon Legend race unlocks. This race only requires you to finish the course to complete it. You do not need to place first, so do not stress about the field. Just cross the line.

Forza Horizon 6 Wristband Events

The race itself is a victory lap moment, with familiar faces from past Horizon games joining the lineup as you cruise toward Legend Island. Cross the bridge, and you officially become a Horizon Legend. The reward is the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4, one of the best cars in the game.

Reaching the Gold Wristband in Forza Horizon 6 is a long ride, but the game gives you plenty of ways to get there. Mix race events with PR Stunts and Skill chains to keep the points rolling. Good luck progressing within the Wristband Events in Forza Horizon 6 because the Aventador and Legend Island are waiting at the finish line.
